"Thoroughly Disappointed is a nice way of letting you know how we felt. we were greeted by a rude and (in my option) RACIST front desk Clerk. She just so happened to give us the worst room in the hotel! It was old, smelly and the TV didn’t work, yuck! We finally had enough and the next day we reached out to the Morning Clerk and she after sending Maintenance 2x, gave us a better room. I have mobility issues and parking SUCKED. NEVER again."

"Staff were super friendly and helpful. Love that they texted to check in throughout the stay. Perfect location for walking distance to all the bars and restaurants! Love the rooftop pool. Nice view of the water"

"I specifically stayed at this Hampton as it was close to the activity I had planned. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only reason the stay was not 5 stars, is the parking situation. The parking lot on site is small with very tight parking spots. There is a parking garage for overflow parking but it is a small walk. Those with small children may find the walk longer than ideal. There appeared to be plenty of handicap parking."

"What a gem! It is just across the street and a flight of stairs from the river walk. The hotel was recently renovated, and everything is pristine. The fitness room is well equipped. The staff was very attentive in the breakfast room and at the front desk. The only feature that is less than ideal is the driveway and the parking. The valet service is very expensive, but the front desk was upfront in telling us a parking garage a block away is at least half the price. Unloading/loading is cramped and tricky. Make sure your most skilled driver deals with that challenge! We really enjoyed our stay and will consider for our next visit."

"Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The loading/unloading area is very small, it doesn’t help that guests request their vehicles prior to being ready to leave. It was congested when we checked in. After checking in, there was no soap in our room, none at the sink and shower wash pump was empty. I’m not sure why there is no soap at the sink. We requested soap and a refill for the shower and bar were provided. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was what was expected, staff in breakfast area were pleasant and busy. Upon leaving, our car was brought out from the public parking deck across the street, but we paid $45 a night at hotel for valet parking. There was also an empty bag of chips left in the front seat of my car - was not ours."
