Bellwether House

"If this is your first visit to Savannah I highly recommend the Bellwether. My stay at the Bellwether House left nothing to be desired. I arrived very late on 31 January and was greeted by a kind young lady who assured me my car would be taken care of by the morning's valet staff. The room was cozy, clean, and the bathroom was stocked with quality toiletries. One of my favorite parts of the stay was how COMFORTABLE the bed was, some of the best sleep I've had in months. Their menus featured typical breakfast/tea foods with hints of Indian influence. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend the golden oatmeal and breakfast sandwich! Every young lady I interacted with at the Bellwether was pleasant and accommodating. The house itself is gorgeous and located a stone's throw from Forsyth park. I look forward to staying at the Bellwether upon my return to Savannah!"

"One of the nicest hotels anywhere! The service, food, location and attention to detail was exceptional. The staff was always available yet out of the way enough to make us feel we had the place to ourselves. We were there on the coldest weekend of the year but everyone was so welcoming, friendly and warm we felt like we had found the hidden gem of Savannah. The breakfasts and teas were incredibly delicious. Just a perfect stay."

"My husband and I stayed at the Bellwether for our baby-moon. Our stay exceeded our expectations. This was our first trip to Savannah and we couldn’t have selected a better place. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The gourmet breakfast and tea time were excellent and all inclusive. You can also purchase on site wellness experiences—my prenatal massage was wonderful. The location was great and within walking distance of all the main attractions Savannah has to offer. Overall, we would recommend the Bellwether to anyone and are looking forward to our next stay."

"From the moment we drove up to valet, we experienced southern hospitality at its finest! The entire staff was friendly, helpful and so inviting! We stayed in room 10, which is the ADA suite. It was perfect! The facility had a wheelchair lift to get on the main level and the room was accessible throughout! Talk about a big, open shower! It was so nice! Gourmet breakfast, afternoon tea time, nightly champagne and treats were all wonderful! We highly suggest staying at the Bellwether House. You will not regret one second of it!"

"We stayed this past weekend and absolutely loved it. We stayed in room 4, and had the most beautiful view of Gaston St. The staff were amazing! Each one was so nice, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea were such cozy experiences. This was an upscale B&B with the familiar feels without being worried about a crazy innkeeper. Our only "issue" was it's location the area is beautiful, but it was a 20min walk to the tourist area. We are both active so we didn't have any issues, but if you want to stay in the middle of downtown Savannah this may be a little far!"
