"Great location next to the park. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Room was quiet and I slept good. I could not find the switch for the bathroom light and the toilet flush was so loud with the very strong water pressure, with not the good way."

"Best quality about Planter’s Inn is the location. We were able to walk to everything in the Savannah historic district. The room was clean, but disappointed in the lack of room service during a 3 night stay. We had to request towels and coffee daily. No information was provided at check in. You must park offsite. We were given a room next to the parking garage with lights blaring through the curtains, offensive when one is trying to energize for a busy next day of sight seeing. Staff listened to our complaints, including lack of AC, but we were left with a warm room because the adjacent room had the same issue. They also seemed annoyed, rather than compassionate. we ended up leaving the door open for a few hours because the temperature out there was nice and we hoped it would leak into our room. On the other hand, I do like hot showers, and I felt this water temperature was barely adequate. Furnishings are dated, but that gives the place charm. While I would not stay again or recommend to others, it was tolerable until the final night. By the way, don’t expect those warm nightly cookies or USA Today as advertised either."

"What a wonderful place to stay while in Savannah. The staff is great! They're all always polite and very friendly. The rooms a very clean. The water pressure is good and the hot water gets nice and hot. Also, a great location. Walking distance to City Market, River Street and so much more. There's also a trolley stop a block away."

"Great experience here! The staff is very helpful and friendly. My room was clean and had a great view! The bed was very comfortable also. The location was also great. I was able to walk every where I needed to go. I woul do definitely recommend staying here!"

"Beautiful hotel. The room we stayed in was nice, warm & cozy. Felt like I was back in the era that hotel once was because of the romantic & fancy detail on walls, the furniture & the window/doors when walking around the hotel inside and out which made it an even better experience because all is part of historic Savannah. The staff were so kind and professional. I enjoyed our stay. I loved the big windows and fun curtain design. Bathroom was clean & bright with window. The only down was one of our pillows had a light brown stain on the actual pillow not the case part. Only pointing that out because the pillow case kind of seperated from the pillow and I spotted it."
