The Cotton Sail Hotel Savannah, Tapestry Collection by Hilton 126 West Bay Street, Savannah, GA 31401

"All we can say is that this is the absolute worst Hilton property that we have ever stayed at. The entire staff are evidently trained to neglect their paying Guests and their comfort while staying here. The weather outside was cold & raining, and the Staff refused to turn up the heat in our room. We finally demanded that they switch us to a different room, and that room was equally as freezing cold. Upon speaking with 3 different front-desk staff members, each of them proclaimed the same tagline, and that was that ONLY the hotel manager was capable of helping us. Conveniently, the hotel manager was always absent and refused to contact us. We had to leave a day earlier than our "Pre-paid" reservation due to my Wife developing a severe cough and cold. Once again, the front-desk staff advised that ONLY the manager could refund the day that we weren't capable of staying, due directly to their fault in having the airconditioned air blowing down from the ceiling-mounted air conditioner. My Wife was forced to visit a doctor due to their insolence and neglect!!! This property literally "STOLE" our money, especially considering that we had to check out a day earlier due to their lack of consideration for my Wife's health. They refused to refund our money for this. We had to stay next door at the Marriott Property, which treated us with tremendous care & concern. All of this horrendous outcome, and still NOT A WORD from their "manager." And to add absolute insult-to-injury, we have been long-time Hilton Diamond Members. If this hotel treats their preferred Diamond Members with such ignorance and lack of concern, how could anyone ever decide to stay here??? I would certainly suggest staying at a local Hotel 6 as compared to staying at this Hilton Hotel property!!!"

"Great location and nice hotel. Superb view! However, the valet system could be improved. Called 20 minutes ahead of time to get my vehicle, went to lobby, and the front desk never conveyed the message to the valet guy. They forgot and told him after I came to the lobby. Also my shower nozzle didn't work. I had to jiggle and press on it as I turned it so it would turn the water off. And no refrigerator...with. BUT...Great location and nice people"

"Would not recommend to stay at this hotel. Stayed here from 12.30.23-1.1.24. As Hilton Gold member this place was a disaster. I am so disappointed with the stay here on New Years. As a boutique hotel it's far from being cozy, intimate, and having customized service for customers. There are multiple entrances to the property, with a public restaurant on the roof and therefore there is an array of people streaming through the floors and elevators. As a gold member we were given a city view (this is the floor above the street level). It is not an impressive view by any means. There were balcony river view rooms available online for booking at time of check in but we were not upgraded due to lack of "availability". The room was okay at first glance, however there were many questionable stains on the curtains and lamps, cracked bedside lamp cover, dust, lack of hot water in the shower, mildew smell in the bathroom, sticky hardwood floors, no mini fridge. The room rate was $520 a night which is simply ridiculous given the service provided by the staff and accommodation. There are only two good things about this place was the valet staff and the location. Yes valet is expensive and yes it took 10 minutes (which isn't ideal) for your car to come but the staff are friendly and efficient. Location is good along the river front and we were able to walk to most of the city."

"As a local, I know the history of the building and have always wanted to stay there. For our anniversary, my boyfriend got us a river view room. Gorgeous view. Beautiful very clean rooms. Easy check in and out process. The top deck has amazing food. The absolute best thing is he proposed to me there. So this hotel will forever hold a memory in my heart."

"Awful. Dirty. Loud. And everything everybody else said. A piece of wood from the window fell off and hit my daughter on her foot. I'm not even sure why anybody would allow it to be loose like that. You should know that this hotel has a rooftop bar and another bar with a DJ situation that is not affiliated with the hotel, so there are very random people in and out of the floors. The lady at the front said not to have our pizza delivered to outside our room because it would be "swiped". If you are looking for quiet and cozy, I promise this is not it. The floors were so nasty. The chairs and bench were stained so nasty in both of our rooms. Yuck. Pick somewhere else to go."
