Comfort Inn - NYS Fairgrounds

"We had woke up a little late by mistake. At 11:30 a lady knocks and expresses we have to go. So we try to tell her we were just picking up the room. I was taking out the trash because I always clean up everything before we leave literally I take out the trash. Well as I see the one trash can actually had soda all in the bottom which we didn't even have any kind of dark soda. So their housekeeper put a garbage bag right in over all the soda. So I ended up cleaning out there trash cam also. Whatever I don't even care about that. I'm more concerned with how she treated us she just wasn't professional at all. Her smirking was annoying I tried to tell her why we were running behind she was just to immature to wrap her head around what I was saying. I guess as a diamond member I would expect the common decency of a conversation or to alteast hear me out. My husband and myself were trying to explain we were leaving in just a few minutes. She just clearly has A lot to learn in the hospitality business. Glad we won't be going back!"

"Not the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was clean & the staff was good. We had an issue with the TV remote that was never fixed despite the hotel not being full. The 2 days went from $140.00 to over $500.00!!!! It's not a $250/night hotel. Would not recommend it to anyone."

"Absolutely terrible stay. The rooms smelled like urine, especially well the ac was turned on, they must have never cleaned them. The wifi does not work. The fastest speed I have gotten is 15 mbps, which is essentially unusuable. When I asked for help with the wifi they ridiculed me and were very rude and unprofessional. The people at the front desk have been extremely rude and unhelpful too. The breakfast in the morning is absolutely disgisting. I would be shocked if it was actually edible. The price was awful for this terrible service."

"Our room was completely remodeled. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is the hotel is hard to get too."

"I’ve stayed here several times on business. The staff here are absolutely awesome. If there is a problem, they deal with it immediately and go above and beyond. The hot breakfast is kinda cold but overall the breakfast is good and a microwave is available in the breakfast area. The rooms are clean. Seriously. Above and beyond. Two star with extra service. Highly recommended. Better than many three stars."
