"We stay in a new IHG hotel weekly for work travel and this hotel room was thee most disgusting room we have stayed in. The amount of black mold was absolutely astounding. The reviews in regards to issues with the water are STILL a problem in 2024. We had no cold water, and the hot water made the pipes shake very loudly. The room was not cleaned, there was tooth paste on the mirror, hair on the floor and to top it off there wasn't even hand soap in the room. We had to ask for SOAP. The window sills were FULL of water in the morning. When we brought this to the hotel, they apologized and tried to give us another room which was not clean either. We took photos and video of both rooms. Do not stay here, literally stay anywhere else. Edit to add: For some reason we are unable to leave a review through IHG's website directly. Continue to get an error regarding not being able to find our confirmation number EVEN when trying to leave review without providing it. Shady hotel."

"My husband & I stayed here for a concert this weekend. We reserved our room over a month in advance for $199 per night for 2 nights. When we went to check in, we were told the $199 price was good for Friday, but on Saturday they were going to charge us $270! They obviously found out about the concert & tried to jack up the prices. My husband told them absolutely not, we reserved the room for $199 both nights. The staff member then said he’d give us a discount & it would be $240. Again, my husband said no & had the reservation info in an email. The staff member then apologized, charged us the $199 rate & gave us a free parking pass & breakfast vouchers for both days. The hotel was very clean & I love how the hotel is round. It gives it a lot of character. The room was nice, but my biggest complaint is that the curtains don’t close all the way. The curtain track stops on both sides leaving about 1.5 feet of open window. We were looking forward to sleeping in, but that didn’t happen as the sun light blasts through that space. I will say the beds a super comfortable though! Some reviews said the hotel doesn’t have a fitness room, but it does. They have a few treadmills, ellipticals, a stair stepper, rowing machine & a ton of weights. Both times we worked out, we were the only ones there, so that was nice. I also saw reviews about homeless people around the hotel/parking garage, but we didn’t see any. The hotel is walking distance the the One Center, which is where the concert was, so that was perfect. Overall, we had a great stay! I just recommend keeping all reservation info so you have proof if they try to raise the price when you check in."

"Really unique hotel, definitely one of the nicest I've stayed at and the round shape is really interesting. The hallways are circles! Service was excellent as well. Only problem was very dirty windows in both rooms I've stayed in. Kind of a shame since the view from these rooms are great and the rooms themselves are otherwise very clean."

"I'd say excellent for price. Safe. Clean. Large. Good location. Free parking. Nice front desk and housekeeping. It's Syracuse. Large and clean. Hot water. It's an older building but up to date. Round building. Tall building. Next to highway."

"I thought this was supposed to be a nice hotel chain. Name doesn't mean much anymore these days. The room is really outdated. The bathroom is tiny. The curtains didn't close all the way. The only two things that were OK. The bed and the water pressure."
