"Very good location, walkable to restaurants, etc. Rooms are nice and big, good water pressure, comfy beds. CONS: The fireplace did not work, and will not in the foreseeable future, so that was a bummer. The business center is a joke, the computer is so slow that it is not functional."

"Very nice hotel and loved that it was so old and historical. They definitely updated it. Comfy bed. Clean! No bugs! Only call out was the bathroom was tiny. And the hotel staff really cleans they were at it for hours but also they woke me up first day so that was a bummer. Second day they didn’t and I slept really well. Will be back!"

"I have stayed here before Covid. Room was clean, beds comfortable. If you need more towels or shampoo it it really available in the lobby. No breakfast but coffee and tea in lobby. Good location for downtown and SU and Syracuse Stage. Staff is friendly. Free parking. I gave 3 star because of price and no breakfast options. Some things in the room minor like noisy bathroom fan only 1 hanger to in the closet."

"My daughter and I stayed here for a campus visit to Syracuse. The location was perfect. Walkable to campus (albeit uphill), and a delicious vegan restaurant just a couple blocks away. The room was clean and spacious (we had a corner room), and the shower was excellent. Free easy parking behind the hotel. Definitely recommend."

"Not a good value. I was expecting to have a special experience since I was picking a historic hotel, and not a chain, but I was disappointed. Room had a musty smell to it. Internet was spotty, cutting out frequently. For the price, I would expect at least some kind of continental breakfast. TVs are outdated and you're unable to connect to them with your mobile devices. However, the staff was helpful and kind, and the building is nice. Sheets were clean and beds were comfortable. Coffee was provided but it that was about it. While the building is historic and staff is attentive, for the cost, there are much better options, with more amenities, for far less. I would have rather stayed at a chain hotel. If it's your last resort, then it will serve you well, but I would not make this your first choice."
