"This was my first visit to Alvarez Smile Design and you know the adage, "first impressions last"? It was a wonderful first impression. The moment I entered the establishment I was greeted with courtesy. The front desk personnel was attentive and efficient. Jordi was very professional and personable, he took the images with speed and accuracy. The hygienist, David was thorough and gentle, my mouth feels new! My teeth look whiter and I am very happy. Dr. Alvarez was my meticulous, young and stylish -- the examined my mouth, engaged me and gave we discussed findings. He was NOT trying to push any sales on me, like other Dentists. This place was clean, inviting, spacious enough, new and very efficiently run. My appointment was honored. If you are looking for a good, skilled Dentist, you just found it- 438 W 51st. You can take the A, C or the 1 trains there. My second visit was horrible! I had an 11:00 a.m., I was 15 minutes late, and I informed the office that I was on my way. I arrived to be told that there are two people ahead of me and the Doctor did not arrive yet. Insane! I was frustrated! I was running through the pouring rain to make my appointment which would not be filled before near 1 p.m . I will never go there again. My time is precious too!"
