"While the apartment itself is beautiful, the surrounding area falls short compared to other locations in Raleigh, particularly the Glenwood area. The main factor influencing my rating is the parking garage situation. Unlike most buildings, 511 Faye doesn't own its parking garage; it's managed by a third-party company. During my stay, there were approximately a dozen car break-ins almost every night. The crucial difference lies in the fact that 511 couldn't implement security measures like cameras in the garage, as the third-party company refused to do so. This lack of surveillance contributed to persistent car break-ins, with no evident resolution. Additionally, there was a lack of routine security in the garage, and 511 disclaimed any liability for such incidents. Adding to these challenges, the elevators used for move-in and the parking garage are shared with the corporate side of the building. This shared usage, compounded by people moving in or out and bank workers utilizing the same elevators, resulted in prolonged wait times to access the parking garage. This situation was particularly inconvenient for commuters, as the extended wait times added significant delays to retrieving my car. Considering these factors, especially if you commute, living here may not be ideal. Despite the excellent events and gorgeous amenities, the shared elevators and challenging parking garage situation contribute to a less-than-ideal living experience."

"I absolutely loved living at 511 Faye! This was my first studio apartment and I am so glad that I chose to make 511 Faye my home. Firstly, the views are best in town. The location gets no better than Fayetteville and Wilmington st. The leasing staff is the best in town! I was in touch more frequently with Valerie and Antonie and they are kind, professional and are always sure to assist with resident needs swiftly. The community events were super creative and there were always events scheduled throughout the entire month. I also love how the pets receive the own recognitions every month and a jar of treats to grab from at the front desk. 511 Faye has a signature scent throughout the building (mainly in the leasing area) and omg, I loved it! Regarding my studio apartment, literally my dream come true. It was upgraded, no cracks, holes, or anything else that you can think of. When I cooked, the smell did not stay in my apartment for long even with the building not having windows that opened. Honestly, now that I look back on it, I am so glad that the windows didn't open because I NEVER had to worry about those NC insects/bugs getting into my place during the summer (I'm terrified of bugs). I could brag about 511 Faye, the views, the location, the community, the staff, the apartments themselves, all day. If/when I move back to the RDU area, I will be sure to consider this residential community again. :)"

"511 Faye is the penultimate living in Raleigh, NC. The breathtaking views from every apartment, along with the pool, amazing 24hour gym, pet friendly staff, and constant activities put on by the building will have you never regretting the rent. The entire management staff is fantastic, but the leasing agents Valerie and Antoine make my day every day I walk through the office. Please make sure you talk to one of them when you come visit, they are great people! I just resigned my lease for 15 months, the building can thank their management and leasing staff for convincing me!"
