"I was very pleased with this place! Great location for what I was attending! Plenty of restaurants around for B/L/D! The rooms don't have carpet!!! That is a plus! Outside corridors, only negative! Brenda at the front desk was super nice! I'm back in Raleigh in January and will probably stay there again!"
"I got a really nice stay here at Days Inn. Service is nice, the reception is also very helpful. My plus is that there is a hair dryer and iron in the room. The only problem I have is about the location, this hotel is next to the highways and there would be unpleasant loudly noise at the night time. However, overall experience is great here, the breakfast is nice. You get to do your own waffles here at Days Inn. I would say my expectation match with price for this hotel."
"The hotel was surprisingly better than anticipated. The check in process was quick and the two woman were very nice. There were a group of travelers playing cards in the breakfast areas which was cute to see. The room was very clean, I always inspect the bed and linen first to confirm that it's clean. Their were no bugs and the shower/tub were very clean with no hair to be found. The water pressure was amazingly strong. I would highly recommend this place and for the rate you can't beat the price for it's location. I was extremely happy that included in the price was a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. This way I was able to run up the road to Harris Teeter and get breakfast food and snacks. I was able to bring leftovers back to reheat and enjoy plus save some money on more food. Breakfast could be extended an hour to 10 am. It's only offered from 6 am-9 am. I was hesitant when pulling in and seeing dozens of giant white electrical work trucks and some people outside hanging out, but it appeared as a hub for out-of-state workers who need their sleep and peace and quiet. So I was happy to not hear partying and obnoxious people outside during the late hours of the night. The only thing I would have liked was the trash picked up left outside in the parking areas from lazy inconsiderate people. But I would highly recommend staying here for the price and location. I do read reviews from the most recent down and some weren't good. I did not experience any of the negatives some people wrote about. The prices of Airbnb’s we're twice the rate of here. I will stay here every time when visiting Raleigh. Thsnk you."
"This place seemed to be a good selection for a last minute booking. The rooms were decent, the beds were comfortable, no smell of smoke, and pretty well kept and clean. This would be a 5 star review if I was reviewing things off first glance. However, when you get comfortable and all settled in the room is what’s most important for an enjoyable stay. I settled in and got comfortable. Ready to watch tv and relax after a long day of travel has finally come to an end. As I got comfortable, not even 30 minutes into relaxing, I was sitting up with my back against the head board and a huge insect crawled from behind the headboard (I’m guessing that is where it came from) across my neck and down my shirt!!! I nearly had a heart attack, a seizure, and an asthma attack all at once. I manage to get up and shake it off and realized it was a huge roach. It took off under the bed, and I wasn’t even interested in killing it. I went to the front desk immediately and they were more than happy to change my room. I really was exhausted and wanted to keep the peace, but I wish I would have just asked for a refund because after that I felt like roaches were everywhere while I slept. That was the worst I thought it could get, but the roach alone is not the complete reason for this low rating. As I checked out, I realized I left my very new and expensive shoes in the room I switched from (the roach room). I stopped by the front desk in hopes of picking my shoes up from lost and found, just to be told that there were no shoes found. The housekeeping team stole my shoes and didn’t even turn them in to lost and found. I am still pissed about that. They got there money 3x from me at this point. So, now I really wished I would have just gotten a refund. The front desk clerk (a Hispanic woman with red hair) was very rude and unconcerned about helping me in the matter pertaining to my shoes. I asked her names and she says her name is Brenda. That could be a fake name because she knew exactly why I was asking her for it. I would never stay at this place again and I am completely disappointed about not pushing the issue with the roach and just receiving a full refund for my stay."
