"I have stayed at Hiltons many times and had a great experience, however this Hilton is the exception. The service staff including the manager were very rude. The price we were given initially was incorrect apparently and they wanted 100 more when we to check out. Please note this was not a credit hold like most hotels do. This was a mistake on hotel staff part and the manager did not make it right. I stay at Hilton’s because they are affordable, if I was going to pay almost 300 dollars for a basic room with a bathroom door that doesn’t close, the light fixture in the bathroom hanging out of the ceiling I would have just 500 dollars at a different location and had no issues. 0/10 do not recommend."
"I want to say that the reason for my trip was I came up with my sister who for a funeral who booked the room we came in from Virginia which was a three and a half hour drive. for the money she paid, we were expecting an awesome room. There were five reasons that the stay was unpleasant. One immediately when we got there we wanted to put items in the refrigerator. The refrigerator was plugged in but it was not cold. It was room temp. So we still put our water in the refrigerator on Saturday before we went out and when we came back to the room Saturday evening /night the water bottles were not cold at all. They were the same as if we had just put them in there. Secondly, I wanted to make myself some coffee before I went to bed. The coffee pot was dirty. It was too late for me to go down or for anyone to come up and get me another one cuz we are just come from a funeral and had already begun to unwind, so I , myself cleaned out the coffee pot so I can make myself a cup of coffee .3rd, I went to plug my phone into one of the outlets to charge. It wouldn't stay in. It kept falling out. The outlets were completely loose and will not hold anything in it. Fourth, the chair that was in front of the office desk. terrible. It would not go up and it would not go down and the arms handles on the chair look like somebody had dropped paint or spilled something white on it and just left it there. Lastly, it's the heat. We have the room temperature set on 72. Once it came on automatically cold air like air conditioning, it warmed up finally. And the room was comfortable untill in the middle of the night. We got cold again. What's going on? Pretty much most of the night and it's very difficult to sleep so therefore we didn't get much sleep and we were leaving to go back home to Virginia in the am early."
"I have always used Hilton. This will be my LAST. I have never had such a terrible experience with a chain hotel as this one. I was granted a late check out of 12:30. When I went back to my room at 12:15 to get my belongings, all of my food (over $40) had been thrown out. I am a chemo patient and can only eat certain things. The following day after check-out, I received a call at 2:00 in the morning from my credit card company regarding possible fraudulent charges from this same hotel. They not only tried once, but twice to charge over $200.00 to my credit card after my stay. After several phone calls; it was determined the Hotel Bar was trying to charge me for alcohol. I don’t/can’t drink. I NEVER went to the restaurant. HOW did they get my credit card when my stay was paid for via check by my employer? Thank goodness the credit card company denied the transactions!!!"
"Clean and very comfortable beds. Got the Best sleep. They advertised having free breakfast, but did not. They charged $18 per person. The cokes at the front desk were $4 ea. A little high!"
"The entire experience was awful. The room was disgusting. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the bathroom light is about to fall out of the ceiling & into the shower, which is a safety hazard as this could easily result in electrocution. The chair in the room is ripped up. This is listed as a non smoking hotel yet the cigarette and Marijuana smell filling the hallways is unbearable. I watched guests on the second floor walking around smoking cigars/joints. And the front desk staff are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. During check in the woman working the desk was laid over on the counter and acted as though I was inconveniencing her by even being here. She had a terrible attitude and was just plain rude. I later called & requested coffee for the room, after 2 hours of waiting on this I called back to check on the status and was met with hostile attitude and a new front desk worker loudly "sighed" into the phone. Plus, someone from the Hotel started texting me soon after checking in and I found this very creepy. I stay at Hilton hotels several times a year & typically there aren't any major issues but this is by far the worst Hilton I have ever stayed in & the hostility & horrible service made me physically & mentally uncomfortable for my entire stay. The photos listed are absolutely false advertising as what I received is not what was shown."
