"Ellie was fantastic! She went above and beyond when my daughter had an issue with her bathroom not operating correctly. Ellie listened to the concerns and didn't dismiss the issue. She was super helpful from the start to finish. She is an asset to your team! Thank you Ellie!"
"This is my first year living here and I am blown away by the location and comfort of Uncommon Raleigh! It was so easy for me and my roommates to sign here and everyone in the front office was extremely helpful with anything we needed during the process. This is a great location for students that 1. Don't have cars and want to be walking-distance from NCSU campus 2. Want to live in a warm student environment 3.Want to be able to grab a quick bite at the many restaurants along Hillsborough or need basic necessities which are found at the CVS right across the street. I definitely recommend this apartment and that's why I gave it 5 stars!"
"Close to NC State campus, location on Hillsborough Street is convenient. Pool wasn’t opened until May, and the attached club house with a pool table wasn’t opened until then either. The shared apartment was dirty when I moved in, and I was still charged 100 usd upon moving out. After paying the registration fee, the personnel didn’t respond to my emails for a long time, and after I finally signing the contract, they added an addendum afterwards. I took over the lease of someone else, but did not get their room, and was never informed about living with a cat until I opened the door to the apartment. Noone showed me around to tell me where to put the trash or where the location of the gym is. Throughout the six months, the staircases weren’t cleaned once and still had the same dust balls upon my moving out, despite them claiming „the cleanliness of the staircases is a priority“. The apartment for five people only has 3 chairs, and there is no structure on sharing of the cupboards, which would help in sharing the common spaces with strangers. The walls are very thin and I heard what the people in the apartment next door where watching on the TV, enough to keep me from being able to fall asleep. The aircondition cannot be adjusted for rooms individually, and so all the people in the apartment have to agree on a temperature. There is no fumehood in the kitchen, and the exhaust that is included in the microwave works so badly in directing the fumes into the air shaft, that the room next to the kitchen always smells like the food that was cooked. My bicycle got stolen from the outside bicycle rack, both the locked and outside bicycle room/rack was blocked by unused and left bicycles throughout my time there. I was told they changed this since. When talking to the employees, most were very friendly and tried to help, but only in person."
"While looking for apartments for next semester I called Uncommon Raleigh off Hillsborough. Talked to staff member Marlow Chapman, so was so awesome! She answered all my questions respectfully and was very informative. Marlow was sincere, patient, and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed on the fabulous apartments, prices, and amenities. Due to her assistance, I will be signing in the future!"
"I had Emma Walters help me with any questions I had while leasing an apartment and she was so kind and comforting! Uncommon Raleigh was already on my list, but once the customer service was so kind it made me so excited to stay. I had a delightful experience with her and any questions i continue to have the works are always so kind and willing to help."
