"This is the most unprofessional place ever! The 5 stars on this place is a lie! This place is infested with roaches and mold!! The people in the leasing office don’t want to fix anything! The maintenance on site tries to flirt with you! It take months to fix a problem! They got horrible communication and really nasty attitudes in the office especially the manger!!! Do not rent from here. The place gave my baby a respiratory infection!!"

"**UPDATE** The roaches come from the gaps between the carpet and the base boards. Also from the VENTS. 7 days from moving out and finally saw a water bug come directly out of the vent. Not the sides, but directly through the grates on the vent. Roaches and Water/Palmetto bugs. I’ve been living here for FIVE MONTHS. Not worth the cheaper rent when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder. Maintenance even warned me after signing the lease to expect leaks and small clogs due to the plumbing system being old and outdated. That’s exactly what has happened. Management communication is poor. The steps outside are supposed to have “diamond grip,” but are extremely slippery and dangerous when it rains. Both me and my two year old toddlers have slipped and we live on the second floor. Management has a serious issue with taking accountability and always has an excuse for why something is the way it is but rarely any solutions. Just find somewhere else to live."

"BEWARE!!!!!!! This place is a roach motel... terrible costumer service, first gens blasting terrible music constantly, and the ac constantly goes out in the the summer! Also ROACHES EVERYWHERE, I had to cover the vents with netting so the roaches wouldn’t come from the vents but they are coming from the water heater room now. It’s so disgusting, cracks everywhere letting the roaches in. You’ll see at least 10 roaches a day. Dirty neighbors. I had to do my own bug bombs monthly to try to combat it. And the admin women are terrible.. do NOT give this place your money, save up a little more and move to cary or anywhere else. This place is the absolute WORST. Living her literally depresses me"

"The student apartments are GREAT. They are very spacious and very clean . You have to make sure you give maintenance updates about the apartment upkeep and THEY WILL FULFILL YOUR REQUEST . The staff is pleasant and take concerns seriously but you have to be consistent and patient . The room rent doesn’t go up much each time you renew your lease . For example, you’d sign your lease for $495 and by the time you renew it would be $509, then when you renew again it’ll be $525 and EVERYTHING is included so you can’t beat that price ! The noise levels are LOW all year around . The outside of the apartment is kept up well all year around . The packages never “go missing “ in the office or outside your door they are SAFE ! I just wish they had a consistent system where they let you know you have a package in the office . I’ve been here since Sep 2016 and ran into 2 minor issues with residents and they were handled swiftly . Overall, NO MAJOR COMPLAINTS about the student / rooming apartments of this complex !"

"The management does a wonderful job with maintenance! An exterminator comes by once per month as a preventative measure and sprays the common areas, and I have not had any bug issues. If you have any issues with your appliances, the turn-around time to have someone come fix it is nearly non-existent. The apartments themselves are very conveniently located and reasonably priced, and people are generally quiet. There are some kids that will run around and play during the day, but there is usually not much noise in the evenings. My complaints are with the leasing office itself. They only hold their hours 9am-5pm M-F, and 10am-4pm on Saturdays, which makes it very difficult for anyone working a first shift job to go to the office to pay rent, talk to someone, etc. As far as paying rent goes, management is unnecessarily strict. You have to pay with a check or money order only, and there is no online payment option and no drop box, so you have to walk into the office and hand them the payment while the office is open. If your check is late, they don't accept personal checks at all. The complex has a decent pool, however, the management is super strict about letting anyone in. You have to have a pool pass issued from the leasing office, and if you bring anyone with you, they have to check their ID and signed out a guest pass that the guest has to return to the office before leaving. I can understand why some of these rules are in place, but they inconvenience residents more often than they are beneficial. That's not to say the people working in the office aren't friendly (they're very nice!), they're just restrictive. Another important issue with these apartments is the location. The area is questionable, and in the two years that I have lived here, there has been a shooting just a few blocks away, and one within the complex. I have never felt that my safety is compromised, but anyone looking to live here should expect to take precautionary measures. Keep your windows and doors locked!!"
