"The big problem here is communication. Recently renovated, definitely not the highest quality of renovations but adequate. However, they frequently send out emails requiring action from you with very short notice and limited information. They sent out an email for fire alarm inspections on Friday at 5:45pm when the inspections were scheduled for Monday. They want all pets crated but the only information they give about time is 9-6. Then they didn't respond to their enail all weekend. So if you have pets and have to work in person, you're either supposed to crate them all day or try and scramble over the weekend to make alternate plans but they won't respond to your emails to help you. Similar story when I was moving in - always had to send follow up emails or call multiple times to get responses to the simplest questions. It really doesn't feel like they have any respect for the lives of tenants."

"Cortland Brier Creek gets 5 stars plus!!! I'n an elementary teacher who recently relocated to NC from Michigan. I had the chance to tour several apartment communities before making the decision to make my new home at Cortland Brier Creek. The level of "personalized" customer service that was provided to me-made my transition both seamless and organized! Madison communicated with me consistently from the very beginning to the actual moving process. My actual move-in day was top tier due to the manager, Mikhail coming in and saving the entire day! He went above and beyond his call of duty to ensure that I was actually able to move in along with my furniture and utilities setup. He was even willing to stay and wait for my furniture to arrive! I am so excited about being a part of this community and look forward to living here as I start my new life in North Carolina. Thanks AGAIN Madison and Mikhail!!"

"We love it here! My wife and I recently moved in and have no complaints so far. The staff and leasing team are very friendly and helpful. They helped make the move-in process smooth and seamless. They answered all of our questions and concerns along the way and worked with us and our hectic moving schedule with dates having to constantly change. We were shocked at how quiet, peaceful and clean the community is. Luckily we moved in at a great time during the new Cortland renovations so all the appliances and amenity areas are brand new. We are happy to be here and excited to see for what’s to come at Cortland Brier Creek in the next few months/year."

"After my kids all moved out, I recently sold my house and decided to downgrade to an apartment. After an extensive search, I landed at Cortland at Brier Creek. I absolutely love this place. The application and leasing process was quick and easy, I was in a place within a week from applying. My leasing agent, Mikhail, was amazing! He had a great sense of urgency and made sure I felt welcome and cared for. It is obvious that Mikhail loves what he does! The amenities are amazing as well: plenty of parking, picnic areas, ample walking paths, dog park (they are VERY dog friendly), large refurbished swimming pool and a fully functional gym (that is currently under remodel, but will save me money on my current membership when it is completed with new state of the art equipment). This location is perfect! Close to shops, Umstead park, and the airport for easy travel, and much more! Cortland is in the process of remodeling everything, inside and out. I received one of the newly remodeled units on the first floor and it is beautiful with all new smart appliances and the whole 9! If you are looking for an apartment, consider Cortland at Brier Creek, you won’t be disappointed."
