"Moved into room 221 on 10/27/22 with ALL my belongings, to stay somewhere close to town and everything in Raleigh, while we finished saving our down payment for a home around April next year. 2 weeks in I discover my room has BED BUGS. I tell staff (Raeford, Redford, whatever his name is....he's a crook,a con, a horrible person)...and his response is that I brought the bed bugs and that hes throwing me out yhe next day. Mind you I was staying with a fri3nd in a 2500 a month 5 bedroom home in the suburbs off fox road before I came here and my friend doesn't have bed bugs ...so I definitely didn't bring them. Come to find out the senior citizen in room 219 that has a pacemaker and lives there paying his entire disability check...his room is absolutely infested. Raeford knew this because the day after I told him we had bugs...he went up and threatened this poor old man and told him not to say or sign anything or he'd have nowhere to go to! He called the police and tried to have us thrown out but I had to get my ducks in a row and get somewhere else to go so we asked for the police officers supervisor and the supervisor told him that we were tenants and had to be evcited...so if you fo find yourself living in this dump...just know after 7 consecutive nights.. .he can't throw you you out. He has to serve you with eviction papers. Anyways I had to rent a storage unit, buy a 25,000 camper and put it on a 650 a month lot right here at Christmas time. Now I find out a week after moving into a camper that I'm pregnant. This man has ruined my kids christmas,depleted my savings? And he won't hire a professional to treat. So come here at your own risk. 221 and 219 are infested. Roaches everywhere too. I will be seeing. For the thousands of dollars this has cost me because of this establishments gross negligence. Not to mention casa(nonprofit that fights homelessness) runs it and Enoch holloway...their rep...also tried to throw me out (fighting homelessness my @$$...more like CREATING HOMELESSNESS)but didn't even know the laws. City of raleigh owns this place. A nonprofit runs it. But they won't address an infestation and pregnant women being thrown out bc of their disgusting establishment. The lady at the front desk and the housekeeping staff are super sweet but the men in charge here are bully thugs that think they're above karma and judgement day...but what goes around comes around"

"There is a Caucasian lady that work here by the name rose. Rose tell me that she do not like the staff and that she do not like the cleaning lady ERMA I believe that is her name. Rose says the front desk staff and the owner allow drug activity but I do not believe that. I do believe the lady Erma the cleaning lady is a drug user I always see her doing very bad things that the owner is unaware of. I live here and I know for sure. Also erma goes into occupied rooms and steal. I caught her the other day. Erma also talks bad stuff of the owner and says she want to sue him and says she will purposely hurt herself just to sue the company. Also the tenant rose talks stuff of everyone to and asking she does bad things.I do not think the owner is ev n aware of this"

"Affordable, non-corporate, and nice management. They mailed my deposit check to me when I was not remembering to come by and pick it up as I was job-hunting etc. Surprisingly kind, clean, no frills to pay extra for! 7 years ago."

"The black gentlemen who works front desk is a really nice and good man. He really goes the extra mile and looks out for you. The rooms are large, clean, the bath tub was white , impressed about the cleanliness in bathroom. Everyone is friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately it was out of our budget until my husband is able to go back to work again or we would of stayed longer while my husband gets medical care he needs.. Thank you, a special thank you to the gentleman who works day time... We really appreciate your kindness and for checking on my us....."
