Motel 6 Raleigh, NC - North 2641 Appliance Court, Raleigh, NC 27604

"The cockroach hell hotel, by Crazy Goat Patel (imaginary character) whom wanted to make the place look like a New Delhi dump, but in Raleigh. Day 1: Arrival. Prompt service by the desk man. Given wrong room. The hallways smell like a pot burning plant… Got to my right room, which faces the outside balcony. Still, aromas so strong, I could probably get high by just inhaling deeply… Images of the rooms are from a distance for a purpose that mine obviate. Day 2: Morning-Hot water in shower went cold… Good morning, Sunshine! Day time: No cleaning. I was in the room most of the day. I guess maids dont go into occupied rooms. Evening: creepy crawlers coming out of everywhere! I gather, once room warmed up, cockroaches got a green light to come out and party all over! Solution: Turn off heat, and turn off lights. Day 3: Hot water during the whole shower. Hallelujah! Just one creepy crawler in the bathroom. Turning off the heat worked. Although, room was a bit chilly. A trade off. Left early, and came back late. Room straightened out a bit. But… I gather sweeping the creepy crawlers is not part of Hotel 6 cleaning policy. Neither is replacing about to run out toilet paper roll… New towel… I think… Garbage can emptied… But… Heating/cooling unit could only do AC. Too bad it was 29F outside that night. But, somehow the room managed to stay at about 65F, even without the heat on. I didnt feel like moving that late at night, when I came back. Day 4: All is well, and just a few daring creepy crawlers due to the low-er room temp. Hot water for the whole shower, too! Now, here is the thing. The problems are simple; 1) greedy ownership that does not properly updates the property, and stuff piles over time. 2) Greedy franchise. It is difficult to believe that this cockroach/crackhouse place is an example of what the operation has to offer. Checks and balances are simply not there, guys. 3) City/State poor regulation/oversight. How can this business be still operating?! So, what we have here is greed on top of greed abusing the minorities that frequent this place… because they really dont need quality for their money… Who will they complain to, right?! The state of NC?! The city?! Yeah… right… Frankly, I am bit of a world traveler, and this has to he the worts run and kept hotel property in 3 continents and the Caribbean. And I never frequent resorts… This place reflects extremely poorly on the ownership, the franchise, the city and the state. All of you need to clean up your act, guys. Shame on you!"

"Omg nasty room ever like the last one I stood at cockroaches everywhere it was bad everything was dirty. I try to get a refund couldn’t even get a refund it’s nasty. It’s bad one never stay there again. It was good price but room was dirty and nasty and no refund."

"Door lock / deadbolt was broken so I had to have them give me a new room, When I removed the sheets to put my own onto the bed because the blanket had cigarette holes in them, the office staff asked me to take the bedsheets from on the ground on the sidewalk and put them back onto bed in the old room so the room could be sold. Aka he was going to sell the room to guests with dirty sheets on the bed that were just laying on the nasty sidewalk… disgusting & lazy. I didn’t even end up staying at all and filed a report with customer service for a refund"

"Very dirty rooms. 2 beds but only 2 run down towels. A lot of scetchie people. I moving with uhaul pretty scared to sleep had to check on car and uhaul. Also if you do sleep here bring lysol spray. Spray everything down. I got what I paid for. :( oh I guess they done believe in replacing bathroom doors."

"The room let's clean there are plenty of towels and washcloths. Amenities are basic there's a small refrigerator and a microwave as well. Staff were very courteous and a little steep on price but it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. I would definitely stay here again."
