"Honestly, this review is sadden for me because I’ve stayed in Bexley Steelcroft years ago and thought the experience would have been similar, but it was not. I applied for a one bedroom apartment and provided the necessary information on the application and paid the fees that were needed to go through the process. I was informed and the next day that there was an issue with pulling my credit report because there was a restriction that needed to be removed and to call Equifax to get it removed and I should be fine. I called Equifax and they informed me that it was removed and it’ll take an hour to reflect. They provided me a number for apartments to call to get information if needed anything. I called Bexley and informed the staff that it has been removed after a couple of hours. They constantly said that they couldn’t pull my credit through Equifax. I didn’t understand because usually all three would be pulled, so I didn’t understand why the other ones were not going through this issue. The staff mentioned they only pull Equifax and the credit report is now coming up unavailable. I received mailed and written confirmation that the restriction/block was removed from my credit report so I don’t understand the issue. I constantly had to call because the staff was not reaching out to me, yet they were not having an issue taking my application fee. The apartment was added back to the site and they informed me I could apply again and they would reimburse the application fee. I decided to apply again and with a co-signer added to the lease because I wanted to ensure that everything would be okay and go through the second time. I paid the application fee for a second time and submitted a second application. I didn’t hear anything for two days, so I figured everything was actually going through. On a Saturday I went in for a tour after I made an appointment along with bringing my friend that co-signed. We went in and wasn’t really greeted and just told to have a seat. We sat and a lady came over and asked for our names. She then mentions that the credit report had a block for not only me, but for my co-signer too. Mind you, we both confirmed with Equifax that neither of our credit report had a block before applying because we didn’t want any issue, so hearing this was baffling to me. She still showed us the apartment, didn’t show amenities or give details and it gave off an energy as if she didn’t want us there anyway. She proceeds to say that the apartment will be back on the site after four days and we can apply again once we worked out issues out with Equifax. Even though we told her there shows no block and did research and Equifax has several breaches and issues, but she was persistent that it wasn’t anything on there end. She mentioned that the application fee would be reimbursed, but that never happened. The entire experience was exhausting and frustrating and no one was willing to truly help resolve or get to the bottom of anything. My co-signer and I called several apartments and was told that all three reports are pulled to review the credit report and not just one. I was able to get approved for an apartment with no stipulations or issues, so it shows that there is no issues with a block or restriction at all and the Bexley staff in Concord truly didn’t want me there to begin with and had judgment of me from the beginning."
"Would highly recommend moving here . It’s very accessible to almost all shops whatever you want like food, clothing , entertainment etc. the community is also nice having nice pools and gym. I had all my maintenance requests done properly . I liked the starling model and it’s very spacious ."
"I recently moved in here. The staff were amazing. They helped me through the application process and were very patient with me. The apartment is amazing, everything works great including washer dryer, fridge etc. The area is nice and very convenient being across from the concord mills mall. There is also a walmart nearby so grocery shopping is easy. I am beyond pleased with this place. Thank you to the staff for making the process easy for me."
