"I called on 9/8 and had the pleasure of speaking with Patty. I explained that I was lost on UNCW campus and I was trying to find the passport office. She asked if I had an appt I explained that when I tried to book an appt online it said no appts for the dates I had chosen. Patty explained that was because they were booking 30 days out. I think she heard the panic in my voice so she asked when I needed my passport by, I told her December 4. Patty told me I was in luck and that they had a cancelation and could get me in right away. She went through a checklist of what I would need in order to get my passport. I realized I was missing one of the items needed. Patty said no worries and asked what my schedule was like for the following week. She scheduled me on a date/time that worked for both of us. Fast forward to today 9/14 when I arrived for my appt. I was greeted by Virginia. She quickly went through my paperwork and circled everything I needed to correct. She gave me a pen and new DS 11 packet to fill out and showed me where I could go to sit down and fill it out. When I came back from filling out my paperwork Patty was in the office and I thanked her for helping me and for making the whole process a positive one. Virginia and Patty expedited my passport, but it was still cutting it close to my departure. So they recommend having my paperwork expedited so they could start working on my passport sooner. Virginia walked me over to the UNCW post office and spoke with the lady working at the counter and explained what I needed. They took care of me right away. The entire process from beginning to end exceeded my expectations. I had heard horror stories of people trying to get their passports and was scared going into it, but Virginia and Patty made it so easy and were so helpful. They went above and beyond and I will be sure to tell everyone I know."

"In a dark vacant office, Representative did everything not to help us "renew" passports. With an hour to closing, they we determined to keep sleeping. I have been there two previous time and this office worked well. Today, it was terrible. I believe, if they were paid to process passports, they would have gotten ours done in the 15 minutes the federal site calls for and been able to get back to sleep."
