"I stayed here last night and was woken up by by niegbors fighting about who slept with who at 3am until 5am after I called the manager at 3am and he came to their room and I heard his conversation with the party he pretty much belamed me for making the compaint to the trouble makers while he argued with the party about how they thought since they paid for a room they werent going to whisper. It took me calling the Wilmington police department for them to finally leave. I got about 3 to 4 hours of sleep. Needless to say the management has no backbone and I won't be staying here again. I should have gotten a refund!!!"
"I usually stay here with not too many problems. This time the room was actually the cleanest room I have stayed in at this hotel. My only real complaint was the maintenance man playing inspector gadget. When I went to check out I return my remote control and two key cards and he approached me and told me I was smoking in the room for one I'm not a smoker my fiance doesn't smoke and he took a picture of a cup of cigarette butts that were behind the TV. I go inspect the rooms behind the TV looking for anything that might have been left for all I know he could have took that picture in another room. It was the way he approached me basically accusing me and then calling me a liar they don't usually charge me a deposit because they know my rooms are clean when I leave and I always return everything to the front desk not real happy with inspector gadget kind of ruined my perspective on this hotel."
"The people who shared a five star review were most definitely employees or people who are paid to do it. The rooms are disgusting, the beds and furniture have stains and a funny smell to them. The bathrooms have mold and you can hear pipes rattling when people flush their toilets. Whoever is in charge of the grounds will do nothing about guests being loud and partying on the outside deck regardless of the time of night and you will pay a cleaning fee for this gross room whether you leave a mess or not and judging by how the room looks upon entry I'm not too sure what their cleaning people do. They give you a tv remote upon signing in but mine didn't work for my tv at all and others were complaining that they had gotten the wrong one and you will pay a fee if that's not returned as well. Not worth the price I should have just slept in my car."
"Good location, but disgusting hotel! I've never had to check-out as soon as checking-in. It was probably worth $20/night, not $100 a night with a $150 deposit. There were white splashes all over the headboards, cigarette burns in the bedspreads, the shower was full of calcium deposits, the shower curtain was missing, the bathroom ceiling was peeling all over the floor, the toilet was leaking murky water, and the floor was gross. Even the outside door wouldn't latch, which is huge security issue. We brought our stuff in, looked around, and left demanding a refund. The lady at the desk was very nice and seemed embarrassed. We went to the Red Roof Inn next door that was the same cost and actually worth $100/night. They told us that the owners at Rodeway don’t perform maintenance which is why it looks so terrible. Don’t stay here."
"I’ve had better for similar prices. But it got the job done. My bed was very comfortable, but they should definitely do a better job with picking cleaner linen to use. Don’t think I would return anytime soon. And make sure you bring your own shower shoes. Disclaimer you will have to pay a $100 deposit fee before checking in. I feel like that should be disclosed on the websites both main and third-party. But you do get the money back. I suppose with some of the guests they have that’s why they require it."
