"My experience recently that I expect a deal at a thrift store. The prices are high , used cup cake container 1.99, new from dollar tree 1.25. Christmas cover for chair used 1.99, dollar tree new 1.25.jigsaw puzzles outrageous prices. I buy mine for a dollar some are new, from another thrift store . Very disappointing"
"The staff here is very friendly. Jasmine went over and beyond to help me out at the register. She was very polite and enthusiastic. I would have never thought to have checked the DVDs to ensure the correct movie was in place. Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy day to ensure that the customer would have a great experience."
"WOAH. I've always used goodwill as a place to donate my slightly used but still reusable stuff. I mean after all I'm donating them to goodwill to sell for a profit (even if it's shipped off as wholesale). I roll in there will my goods and I'm unpacking my stuff and this employee comes out and scoffs at one of the vases that has a small chip (but still has the piece with it) and exclaims to me asking how can she sell something broken. Ummm, it's not. It is perfectly good vase and still holds water / has the piece if someone wants to fix it. Is this what recycling is coming to? I'm totally against donating trash of course but that wasn't trash. Also like what's with her attitude. She could have just said they can't accept something damaged instead of ridiculing me. Will never take my donations to that goodwill again because apparently my things weren't good enough to make them profit. And honestly if I'm in the wrong fine, but her attitude was ridiculous and incredibly off-putting as I walked in there to do... goodwill."
"I don't shop here very often due to the higher than average pricing, though after how one of the managers treated my wife and I, I won't be shopping here anymore. We walked in, took an empty cart from by the door, and began shopping. After a good twenty or thirty minutes, we had the cart pretty full. A woman approached us. In a very loud and rude tone, she exclaims "Hey, that is my cart! Customers are not allowed to use that cart, only managers are!" We asked about where the customer carts are, she tells us beside the very same door that we got this cart. There were still no other carts there. She had us empty 'her' cart onto a shelf and give it to her. We ended up leaving most of our items behind on the shelf. All the 'customer' carts were in use, it would have taken 5-6 hand baskets to carry our items."
"This is a decent Goodwill, that's real virtue is the drop off for your donations. They've got it down to a science and it's pretty simple. If you ring the bell for them you'll definitely get your receipt for tax purposes, so coming with your own list and guess of values is worthwhile. It'll make it go a little faster, though it's pretty fast as is. I found some hidden gems inside the store from time to time and the stock is always rotating. The only problem I have is that as of my last visit they were still only taking cash."
