"Mr. Stewart, the company's president stepped out of his office as I was awaiting someone to speak with about a part for my new oven no tech was able to locate. Frustrated and w/o an oven for 7 weeks, I asked if he might have ideas, even though I never bought anything from this store. This friendly man expressed concern, and went out of his way to track down a supplier with his national connections. I had the part in a week. Next time I shop for an appliance, this is where I will do business. This was just an act of goodwill, for which he had no reason to go out of his way."

"I’ve purchased appliances over the years from this company and had great experiences. I recently purchased a refrigerator and the experience was horrible. The sales person was difficult to communicate with and set up the delivery for the wrong day. The delivery people were rude to my 81 year old mom when she asked them to switch the door handles to the correct side. I could have gotten this same poor service from the big box stores and paid less, but wanted to support a local smaller business. I tried calling this business 3 times today and never got a live person to discuss this with."

"Great experience. Met a new sales person today, Mike. As usual, helpful, listened to my needs and provided necessary info re: availability, installation issues and product essentials. I have been a repeat customer since 2020. Always a good experience."

"We used the Appliance Center to purchase kitchen appliances for our new home. While the sales associates were helpful, they do not give you the complete picture regarding the high-end brands they sell. It is difficult to find parts and service when they brak down. In our case we had problems with a Thermador Pro Harmony range. From the very beggining it did not come close to the set baking temperature (often 50 degrees off). Several repair visits did not fix it. Now, only 3 years later and with normal use, the oven stopped working. It took almost 4 weeks and over $1000 to repair. Thermador customer service was horrible. Do not buy a Thermador!"

"I am a huge fan of The Appliance Center and Stu Stewart. I first spoke to Stu in early 2021. My husband and I bought a home sight unseen from Singapore in Chapel Hill, and were planning a complete renovation including a huge kitchen remodel. Stu was so patient in helping us choose our appliances remotely. When we arrived in NC we decided not to pursue that renovation and bought a different home. In September 2021, Stu helped me pick out appliances for our smaller kitchen that were in stock and I'm really happy with our choices. We did have an issue with one of the appliances, but Stu has been so helpful in resolving it has not been stressful at all. We've also had really nice interactions at the store with others and with the delivery persons. The Appliance Center is a professional, well run outfit. Its the only place I'll go to get my appliances while living here!"
