"I write this review of New Nearly New A thrift shop in Durham Since '72 Board games galore Checkers and Clue Books and nice clothing They have quite a few If Durham's a town You ever go through They just have so much And this much is true I've written enough And think I'm through So head to the store called New Nearly New."
"This place is awesome! They have a broad range of items and price points, ranging from high end vintage and "boutique" to daily discount items - up to 75% off ticket price. Check out the posters for which tag colors are on sale (note- the "orange" tag looks pink to me, so be sure to ask if you aren't sure). Also- discounts are offered for educators, military, and health care workers. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. I didn't get her name, but if she's reading this- I hope your birthday spa day is amazing!- You definitely deserve it!"
"This is a thoughtfully curated second hand store. It doesn't have the kind of bins full of random things that you find at a goodwill. The clothes are all in good condition. The selection of music CDs is very interesting because it's been curated very well. You can always find good used plates and bowls and glasses. It is easy for handicapped person to get into and out of and has ample handicap parking. Not a great place to bring children."
"Although they tend to have some better branded clothing, you're gonna pay an overpriced amount for it.....they are supposed to be a nonprofit organization. One employee told me they had done a trip to the NC mountain? To do clothing donation...... wouldn't mind seeing the books to see where all their profits are dispersed.....and what their administration costs are...are you a true nonprofit or classifying your unsellable clothing donations as your charitable cash flow? This statement is pure conjecture only...I just never see anything posted on their charitable outreach....."
"My review got deleted. So here it is again. If the owners were not nice, i would rate this in the negative. I bought some furniture few months ago. The prices were high, but I still bought them since they all were in great condition. When I took them home, all 4 drawers of the furniture just fell when I put things in them. I should've bought a cheaper, new furniture but would last longer than what I bought."
