"I had to help my recently moved to New York college freshman daughter with her prescription transfers. She had originally gone to a CVS right by her dorm and had a horrible experience. Despite her going in multiple times, giving her home pharmacy info, they never called nor had any record of her coming in. She finally called me for help as one of her meds had run out and she didn’t know what to do. I found Ansonia online, saw it was near her campus and gave their information to our home pharmacy in Texas. Within 5 minutes, I got a phone call from Ansonia and gave them all my daughters information. I asked if they could fill this prescription that day as my daughter needed it and I’d send her there immediately. It was filled within 30 minutes and both myself and my daughter got a phone call informing us. Outstanding customer service and I couldn’t be more thankful that complete strangers helped look after my 18 year when I’m thousands of miles away!"

"I've been using this pharmacy for fifty years, it has maintained it's personal touch through a couple of owners. They are very familiar with your medications and will alert you if they think you should double check with your doctor. They have cool soaps and lotions as well. All the staff including the young men who deliver are friendly, funny and helpful. Avoid the big chains and shop here, it's a dying breed and needs our support!"

"Neighborhood ANSONIA has been my pharmacy for almost 30 years. When Rx co-pays rose and it became apparent that trickle-down economy would never trickled down enough, I switched to Duane-Reade thinking they might pass along some discounts. Well, in some cases they did... but twice, 2 times, they sent me the wrong medication! Not only is that reckless and dangerous, but following my diatribe and getting the correct medication, their territory manager gave me back my co-pays... isn't that some kind of insurance fraud? Of course, I switched right back to Ansonia. Despite Ansonia's changes over the years, different owners and pharmacists and staff, even their square foot shrinkage with their one-block move, the spirit of Ansonia has endured. They are courteous, conscientious, dependable and helpful. They know me by name. Whenever possible, they go out of their way to help. I trust them implicitly. So, down with the big corporation mega-stores like Duane- Reade/Walgreens! And HOORAY for ANSONIA, my neighborhood pharmacy, May you live long and prosper!"
