"Came here to fill two prescriptions that I received at an medical clinic in Miami while on a cruise. Could not find a pharmacy in Miami that accepts my insurance so I waited until I returned to NYC. Staff was friendly (1 star) but the pharmacist refused to fill my Tamiflu script stating "its not a real prescription " yet the cvs down the road had no problem filling it. Your pharmacist lost you money and made me feel like I was carrying around a counterfeit script. Prices on regular drugstore products were 1/2 what cvs is charging so I gave you an extra star for that."

"I have never in my 65 years in this life left a review for any Pharmacy, till now. Joe, pharmacist and owner and his staff are exceptional. I got rid of the big pharma pharmacies in Manhattan as it was one issue after another with CVS, Walgreens/Duane Reade, etc. Thriftway is on top of all my medical needs and medications, they are HUMAN, speak to the patients and know how to communicate. They are the only Pharmacy I use and I will continue to sing their praise for life. If you're looking for a reliable, caring, timely, trustworthy staff and Pharmacy. You have found them. They are the best in Manhattan and a 5 Star pharmacy."

"If you rely on important medication, you need to avoid this place. They make lots mistakes and aren't afraid to tell you that you don't get your medication. They do not apologize for any inconvenience or health issues caused to you. To the owner, some of your employees really need to be trained. They're causing unnecessary medical problems by postponing meds delivery."
