"Physician sent in a prescription but the pharmacy didn’t fill it and then they argue with me because they don’t want me to use my health savings account. It is so frustrating. Why would I get a prescription if I didn’t need it. This is why all these Pharmacy mergers shouldn’t have been allowed to occur - now the customer service is horrible and there aren’t any independent pharmacies that I can use."
"This place was ok. It’s actually called Duane Reed here in NYC. It’s a little dingy but the staff were friendly. They have a good selection of OTC meds if you get sick but they’re a bit expensive. I would much rather go to a CVS."
"I specifically called this location and asked if they were taking passport photos prior to walking over and was told “yes, we take passport photos.” Upon arrival a very rude woman told us “no we are not doing passport photos.” We told the woman we called 10 minutes before heading over and were told yes the service was available. The woman again said “no we’re not doing it.” This is the second instance that I goto this Walgreens and have had a bad experience. The staff needs to be trained in customer service because they never learned…if you have the choice between being kind and being mean always choose kind. I do not like leaving bad reviews and usually just choose not to say anything at all but this is twice and it is ridiculous."
