"Astor Smile Dental is THE best dentists office!!!! Before going here, I had some extremely rocky experiences with dentists, where I was treated like a dollar sign instead of a human being. But doctor Jo and her entire staff showed me that dental care can actually be a positive, even joyful experience. She and her staff are so knowledgeable about the latest technology and advances in oral health - they actually take the time to review the x rays WITH YOU and show you exactly where there are problem areas and even explain all the anatomical stuff in detail! This was a complete 180 from my previous experiences with OTHER dentists who would just kind of take x rays or a quick look at my teeth and tell me I needed a ton of different procedures and expensive products......... and would bristle if I dared to question "why?" Dr Jo and her staff will gladly answer all your questions, and personally, I really love this education-focused approach. It feels like I'm involved in the process of maintaining and improving my oral health, and whenever I visit, I actually leave feeling really motivated to take care of my teeth. They also prioritize your comfort and make sure you feel at ease during any procedure! Again, really appreciated as someone who had some not so good experiences with dentists in the past. Going to the dentist now feels like an important self-care activity, instead of a chore I used to dread. Can't thank Dr Jo and her staff enough for all the help over the years!! HIGHLY recommend!!!"

"I loved my visit here and… THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY THE FIRST PLACE TO COME WHEN YOU ARE VISITING DENTIST. I got my teeth-whitening here and it was my first time so I felt little nervous but people there were just so nice and made me feel at home. Not to mention, my teeth are reborn shiny refined. "I’ve been going to Dr. Jo since 2015 and she’s hands down the best dentist I’ve ever seen. I feel much more educated on oral hygiene and haven’t had a problem since I started going to her!! Love the super clean space and the massaging chair, and the very artsy lobby! I can’t believe I’m saying this but I very much look forward to seeing her and getting my teeth checked twice a year. I recently went in for a bonding procedure using the biocelar matrix done by Dr. Rammal and am so happy with the results! The procedure was quick and painless, and he completely fixed gaps between my two front teeth and on the lateral incisors, and made them look so natural.
