"I came here for a consultation back in March 2023 to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I have Aetna insurance. Ever since then I have been back and for with the billing department because I am constantly billed. The billing department for all of Columbia dental is through a third party source and so the office is unable to help me and doesn’t understand what’s going on. The billing department has coded the wrong claims and has DOUBLE charged me for the same service in the past. It’s been nothing but a nightmare. I have already spent over 400 dollars for a consultation and a scan that was done 7 months ago. This is not only an issue with the surgeon’s office but also the dental office uptown. I am now being billed again for 95 dollars and I don’t understand why. When I call the billing department, they want me to go directly to patient services because they can’t understand these charges. No one seems to understand why I’m being billed. I would advise anyone to literally go anywhere else (especially a place that doesn’t use a third party source for billing)"
