"Neighbors are great (some are) maintenance staff is understanding and great...but HERE IS MY ISSUE First issue came about a month and half ago when my oven door fell off and my oven toppers were not heating up right. The first visit Brian (maintenance manager AMAZING) came and looked into it and said I will get a replacement. Couple days later, replacement came in and was put in but the back top right big heat "eye" was not working or heating up. So I told Brian and he said he will go ahead and figure out why it wasn't heating up. He tried everything and I told him don't worry about it at the moment. Not even a month and half after getting this replacement oven I had not used my oven yet to make something so I was putting in my meatloaf when out crawls bugs...and I mean ALOT OF BUGS which triggered me and my past experiences. Since I have lived in the same apartment for over 4 years and the staff has seen and knows how I am with my clean house and how I clean. I am very organized so when the bugs CRAWLED out of the "so-called" new replacement oven, I was freaked out and mad. In all 4 years I have cleaned my house on a NORMAL time frame like every month or 2 times a month so I IMMEDIATELY started to clean the house from the BUGS as I called EMERGENCY maintenance to get something done ASAP by pulling things away from the walls, vacuum, sweep, wiping down walls. (I AM VERY CLEAN PERSON and OCD when it comes to cleaning due to my past experiences) Now, before I get the the current issues I will say that I just cleaned before the replacement oven was put in by Brian so when I pulled back the oven away from the wall...a PILE OF BUGS fell out of the back of both my refrigerator and oven and ran away. Then when I pulled the oven to the other said of the wall I noticed my FLOOR WAS RIPPED UP AND THE BACK of the refrigerator was chewed and full of eggs/bugs and droppings. I grabbed my phone and started to take pics and videos which I went ahead and sent to Tammy and Brian (who were the on call maintenance at the time) As I am on the phone with Tammy, I told her everything and she said she will go ahead and get what needs to be done and said it was okay for me to continue to clean up the area and get rid of what was happening and to unplug oven to keep heat away (since bugs LOVE heat) and then told me she will contact Theresa and come in the morning and put down some traps till we figure out what to do. By the next morning Tammy had put down the bug traps and said she reported the issues to Theresa and Amy. Then said she told them to get a NEW OVEN RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX cause the one I had (which is the replacement one) was not working and INFESTED from not being new. That afternoon after talking to Amy and Tammy they said that I will get a bug service out to my apartment by Monday so I can tell my pet service owners not to bring pets till it is done. This was right before Thanksgiving which meant I was not able to do Thanksgiving Dinner and the bug spray was going to be done almost 4 to 5 days after 11/22/2023 (the first time I pulled out oven to clean). So when Monday 11/27/2023 came, I didn't have any people or animals around or in my apartment due to the bug spray people coming and getting my apartment sprayed. That night when it was time to come home from work and school the bugs were not dead on the floor but STILL CRAWLING AROUND and inside my oven and under my floor (which I moved again the oven and refrigerator to see if I need to clean up after the spray). But before I went to pull the refrigerator I opened it to grab something and it was not working. So again I got the emergency maintenance on the line and they came out at 9:00pm to verify and now I am waiting with no working oven, refrigerator, ripped up floor, bugs still crawling out of the floor and wall and if I could get a new APARTMENT AND SUE I WOULD. I just renewed my lease and if this is what is going to happen...Ill take it to court because I still need my carpet cleaned. ***DONT REALLY WANT TO SHOW THE BUGS AND PICS BUT IF ANYONE WANTS...FINE I WILL***"

"I didn't love the price for a 1 br. BUT did love all my neighbors. Is calm and everyone is super sweet. Moving over to Chapel Lake now and love that we will still have the same maintenance guys. They're so helpful!"

They went above and beyond and installed an updated faucet and ran suction on all kitchen piping to make the water run smoothly. Then they even came back later to check and make sure if it was working."
