"Be careful if you select this hotel. Everything was ok, until I woke up saw two roaches climbing on the wall and ceiling. After I saw that I was ready to check out. See pic. Nasty. Rooms could need some updating. Towels were hard. I would not stay or recommend this hotel. Wish I could get my money back."

"I have a few mixed feelings regarding this hotel stay. We are a family of five, three boys under the age of 16. We travel a lot and I understand as the kids get older we will eventually have to book separate rooms. We are not at the point yet. My youngest is 4 years old. I will attach receipts and pictures so that you have a better understanding of what I am talking about. We checked in last night about 6:30. The check-in-staff was okay he wasn't exactly friendly but he got his checked in answered some questions gave us our room keys and we went upstairs. At first glance, the building is in need of some updates old carpet chipping paint etc. What I really care about is the room which I'm going to get into in just a minute. To let you know this place does not offer any type of breakfast. There is a restaurant within the building which makes it convenient. But breakfast is not start until 8:00 a.m.. when we got to our room like I said is an older room there is five of us at the time of this booking I always state that we are a family of five with the designated age to help accommodate. As you can tell from the pictures the room is pretty small no sofa bed two double beds. The room is clean enough. When I went downstairs to inquire about a possible roll away bed the gentleman at the front desk told me he would have to check. I also asked for extra pillows and linen so that I could potentially make a bed. The front desk did eventually bring us pillows and linen but told me that they no longer had rollaway beds. I explained to him that when I book hotels I tell them that we are a party of five two adults three children and we usually have a pull out bed in the rooms I've never had an issue with that. He then proceeded to tell me that they do have rollaway beds but they're $45.00. I thanked him and said no that I wasn't going to pay that. Later I learned from an email that I received that a roll of a bed would only have been $25. Since we're only going to stay one night we made do with a chair and a small ottoman and made a small bed for my 4 yr old. Bear with me I am one that does not complain often. The room was mediocre. I was upset about the rollaway bed again I mentioned above that we are a family of five and we travel a lot for the price that I paid I would have gotten a better room and something that accommodated for all of us. I understand that we're visiting Virginia Beach on the off season there isn't a lot of people here and I just think that accommodations could have been made. The room does offer an ocean view which is beautiful the bed was comfortable the Sheets Were clean. Overall say the stay was meh. The stay for the night was $118.00."

"What an amazing night. The check in staff was kind, personable, and professional. She made the process enjoyable. She derseves a bonus, promotion and or raise. It was a VIP experience. I loved the ocean view room, which offered a comforting experience of serenity, peace, and beauty. I didn't want to leave. The bedding was clean and pristine. The room offered a spacious floor plan. Everything I needed was provided. The cost was well below the services provided. They offered senior and military discounts. I highly recommend staying here. Amazing."

"This hotel is AWFUL. Dirty halls, walls and in serious need for an update. I saw the cleaning crew mopping with black mop water. I had 3 different rooms and still could not get one with hot water. I let the water run for 20 minutes and still could not get close to warm. The view from my balcony was amazing."

"This used to be a Best Western. It was kept up very well. The rooms were quite nice. My family stayed here often. Now that it's a Ramada, it's just awful!! And they had the nerve to charge a resort fee!!! The ONLY good thing about this hotel is that all of the rooms are facing the beach/ocean."
