"I grew up in this neighborhood! Moved in at 13 moved out on my 30th birthday ! Seen a few property managers but no one better than Lauren! She always made sure to help best she could in any situation i needed housing wise. The community itself is very quiet, private & respectable neighbors. The staff are genuine and communicate as well as you communicate. Thank you for letting me grow into a woman and Mother here. Im glad i got to experience living at Lake Princess Anne"

"I have only lived here for a few months but so far its been lovely. I feel the rent is reasonable compared to most places these days and I like that there is a flat utility fee for the water & trash. The property is well maintained with the exception of the front fence, which is on the owners not the management staff & during times of high move outs or move ins the dumpsters can get over-filled but maintenance is always quick to resolve. I haven't had too much interaction with the front office staff but I think that is a positive thing. Lauren the office manager is pleasant and helpful. She was easy and efficient to work with while signing our lease. The maintenance supervisor Dustin is wonderful. He is excellent at his job and skilled. He is quick and efficient at fixing any issues that may arise, and so far there have only been small normal things you'd experience at any apartment, like needing a replacement part for appliances and replacing an electric outlet. He is polite and I really appreciate that he makes sure to clean up after himself. He goes out of his way to follow up on any work he does and make sure the issue is fully resolved and that the tenant is satsified. I have even seen him go above and beyond to help out tenants with things that are not his job, such as climbing into the dumpster and sifting through a mountain of trash to help a tenant retrieve something important she had accidentally thrown out. There are nice little touches to the community that I feel make it stand out from other apartments like the old style street lamps, the built in soap dispensers on all of the sinks, the nicer thicker 2" window blinds and the slate/granite around the fireplaces. They have been working on renovating the units and I love the new Whirlpool appliances. I love that they keep up regularly with having a companies come pressure wash the buildings and maintain the lawn, it makes me feel that the staff here really cares about the quality of their service and the property/buildings. It may sound silly but it is important to me and makes a difference. I was really worried about living in an apartment again after living in private residences for over 6yrs but I couldn't be happier with the choice to move here. The neighbors have been great and it's been a quiet and peaceful place to live. * My only complaint would be to the owners of the property: I feel it would be of great benefit to either remove or replace the playground. It's old and boring for younger children. There is no slide or swing mainly just monkey bars and worn down rock climbing, which with the height that they are, are meant for older kids. I think it would be nice for a newer more age inclusive playground or maybe turn the area into a small dog park or garden area."

"Upon living here for a year I would say it was an enjoyable smooth process for the year. I enjoyed the updated appliances and floor layout of the 3 bedroom townhome and the application/Approval process was easy and enjoyable. The maintenance was great at keeping up with checking on smoke alarms and vent filter changes. They always came quickly with emergencies and problems that popped up. I would say that upon moving in we asked for our address number by our door to be fixed as it was missing numbers but never got that fixed even when told it would be taken care of. The unit numbers are very hard to read outside especially at night and parking is always hard to get after the evening. Also, make sure to not get a unit with the backyard facing the main Salem road as the traffic is very loud and sometimes even a Nuisance. The location is what made me enjoy this apartment the most, it’s right across from a wonderful small park that’s well maintained and has a great dog park to enjoy. It’s also right in Salem Virginia Beach which has great shopping centers, schools, restaurants and the hospital near by. I did enjoy having my own Assigned parking spot but did have issues with neighbors dinging my brand new car with their doors. The black border fencing also really was an issue with security, lots of railings would go broken or go missing. That being said with a small dog they can easily get away and run in the busy Salem road and possibly get hit so that always made us nervous. If you are calling the office with questions the best advice I would give is to wait for Lauren to be in the office. Any other office staff that helped us was very wishywashy with answers and always left us confused. That would end up being in miscommunications and would always end in frustration, so just call until you get Lauren to help you unless your just reporting something like maintenance. We left because we bought a home of our own but sadly their rent would’ve went up $350 more if we renewed our lease which was baffling for a family to afford in 2021-2022. We tried to sublease it since we moved out early by a few months and that was a huge struggle because they are strict on income and credit so we had to pay for rent for a few months on an empty unit because nobody we tried to move the lease to was never approved. They are honest with work and costs that need to be done for your deposit refund and was easy to communicate with when we left. Make your choice wisely and ask all the questions you have for these apartments! Definitely out-way your pros and cons and be sure to communicate with the leasing office about issues, they have always been super nice to work with."

"I lived here for over 13 years and it's sad that I am moving, ever since the new management took over they really been working hard improving everything on the property from the units to the complex exterior. Out of all my time living here I never had any issues with other tenants and everyone was quite respectful of each other, there is also security that patrols the property for extra peace of mind. Property maintenance was great they took care of any and all issues I had and were very nice. Management itself was wonderful the staff in the office was always polite and professional and would answer any questions I had. I would recommend looking or considering moving here, location is great management and maintenance staff are truly awesome, this place will be remembered as home to me."
