"Endless issues, starting with my move in. After moving out, I was double billed. I've called 6 times and emailed 5 times (over 2 months) and still haven't had help. Almost all of my messages are never returned. The two times I've spoken with someone, I'm given a vague/generic response but then the issue isn't resolved. Extremely frustrating, as the people that are paid to support tenants don't follow through and then have no accountability."
"This review is for Mike, a member of the maintenance team. He is always polite and fixes all our issues in one go. He genuinely cares about our safety and us having a functioning apartment. I really appreciate all the work he has done for us."
"*update: Today I called the leasing office, again, and they once again said that someone will come fix it today. I asked what time and they said whenever Jason is done with AC because that takes priority. I asked why can’t another maintenance worker do it, and they said because Jason is the only one who can. I told them that is a hiring issue and is a reflection of how poorly trained maintenance is. Cambria needs to give Jason a whole lot more than just a raise because this man does everything for this apartment complex. I am so grateful for him, but I feel terrible that he basically does everything around here. Original post: I am honestly very frustrated with Cambria right now. I have been working with maintenance and the leasing office to get my microwave handle fixed for nearly 3 weeks now. Everyone tells me different things every day and I’m constantly told it will get done, and it never is. I’m told I’ll get a call back and I don’t. Maintenance says they will come and don’t. I called because the light bulb in my kitchen went out and when I called the leasing office, they asked me 4 times what i was calling for and the maintenance guys STILL brought the wrong bulb. It seems like Jason is the only maintenance guy who does anything but is too busy to come help me. Also, who ever mowed the lawn next to my car got mud all over it and there is dog feces all over the sidewalks and parking spots. My boyfriend stepped in dog feces while getting out of his car. Also, when we were working on getting my significant other on the lease, they had all our information swapped around and the leasing office was so hard to get in touch with. I didn’t have problems like this when I first moved in in November. Now it’s one thing after another and I am very disappointed. They had really cool community events and my pet won Pet of the Month once, and those things are great. I’m just really frustrated with whatever is going on between the leasing office and maintenance. I love all the people who work in the leasing office so it really hurts to write this review. I will gladly take this review down when these problems are resolved."
"By far the worst apartment I've ever resided in. Maybe it would be a better community if it had the proper management staff. They will find a way to keep your entire security deposit but refuse to address any issues within the apartment while you are living there. I would accept being responsible for damaged carpet if I was the person that damaged it, however the carpet was not replaced prior to moving in and there was no damage beyond normal wear and tear when I moved out. I also went 3 whole months without a working AC unit. I had to call the leasing office over 5 times about this issue as well as chase down the maintenance staff while they were riding on their golf carts to try to have the ac fixed. I couldn't even bring my newborn home because the apartment was over 80 degrees in the apartment resulting in me going to stay with my parents. Believe it or not, the ac unit was NEVER repaired before I fully moved out in June 2023 Also, don't get me started on the mold that grew on EVERY window in the apartment. For some reason, the windows were not installed properly or were a cheap selection because a few of our neighbors also had the same issues of mold growing on the windows within their apartments. This place is full of problems (more than half of the fitness equipment didn't work, fountains within the community were broken, outdoor tv's didn't work, dirty grilling areas, pool fountains broken and dog poop EVERYWHERE!!) And to think they continue to increase the rent and refuse to put any money back into the property is pretty sad. This community has potential to be beautiful but is sadly not being maintained properly."
"1. VERY THIN WALLS - if you live by the pool, during summertime - you’re gonna have headaches from all the noise and loud music (the video attached here doesn’t translate the real noise, even if you watch it with volume all the way - still, it’s honestly like I am playing that music in my own apartment, and you have nowhere to go - I mean it’s your home, so you’re just gonna have to live with it, I cry sometimes desperately waiting for 9pm), so DO NOT RENT A UNIT NEAR THE POOL OR WITH WINDOWS FACING HIGHWAY. Same relates to neighbors partying after midnight, and me waking up from police knocking at someone’s door and people screaming. 2. Maintenance response is 50/50 - if you put an “Urgent” request - they’ll come, if not - even after the third request for the same issue - they won’t come. UPDATE: Just got to know today why some of my “Emergency” type of requests don’t get addressed on time. The thing is that the maintenance requests that residents put from the “Resident Portal” go to the office staff email, and they apparently don’t look at it regularly. Put a SR around 10am in the morning - it wasn’t addressed, at 4:30pm stopped by the office to ask why no one came. The lady at the office said: “Your request didn’t get printed out”. I asked “Why?”, no clear response. I was advised to call next time. QUESTION: if there is an ability for the residents to put a request via portal, why do I have to call? What if I don’t have the ability to call, or come to the office? So it’s not the maintenance guys fault. They actually did call right after I left the office, came to check on the issue, but the sad part is - I have to wait til the next morning until my AC can get fixed (it’s 80 degrees in the apartment), as there is a new part that needs to be picked up. SOLUTION: the office staff needs to come up with a better system for filtering their incoming emails (create a setting in the email app for the emails to get labeled properly or get stored automatically in a special folder) and set a rule where that email folder will be checked every hour or 30 minutes, so no requests will be left unaddressed. There are at least 3 people working in the office, so I don’t see a reason why the emails won’t get checked. 3. Residents don’t clean after their pets - be ready to see lots poop around and trash too, if you go for a walk. 4. Appliances are pretty cheap - a handle to the microwave was glued, so it broke pretty quick, just like what someone else is posting about their fridge. The electric stove doesn’t distributes the heat level according to what you set - so be ready to burn your food a few times due to you setting the heat level to medium and it raises til high. 5. Got my car broken into once - so I won’t say it’s super safe in here, I mean it’s not a gated community, so can’t expect much - anyone can come in. Other than that: 1. Pretty spacious for a 1 bedroom and nice high ceilings. 2. Big bathroom and a bathtub. 3. Lots of storage in the apartment - storage for coats at the entry door, linen closet, closet in a bathroom and walk in closet in the bedroom. 4. Clean carpet. 5. Fair price ($1650/mo for 1 bed, 916 sq ft). 6. Great location - most of the stuff you need within 10-15 minutes (Town Center, grocery stores, doctors, etc.). P.S. so basically, just waiting for the lease to be over, I wouldn’t be able to live another pool season in here.. unfortunately"
