"Please get in touch about continuing concerns regarding the safety and foundation of this build. I don’t recommend anyone move into these until this is addressed correctly. These pictures are from two separate apartments— I have been complaining since March- moved-in in February. The other tenant has complained for a little more than a year. Update: No fix to my apartment is been three additional weeks. I’ve attached a new picture of a new water spot in my apartment. I’ve been notified that the property failed to keep up with preventive maintenance during the pandemic. I’ve also reached out via email twice— hence being told to do so in reply to my initial complaint. I plan to consult legal advice. It is now August 22nd, the problem has finally been rectified— mind you I’ve been complaining since February/March. But I’ve finally been able to sleep without if feeling like it’s raining in my apartment. The other lady from the other apartment has moved out, hopefully I have no more issues. August 31st — it has now started leaking when it rains again. And it’s worse than before — at this point I’m just ready for my lease to be up, I feel uncared for and frustrated."

"Shout out Ms Bazemore. I'm not a tenant of Seaboard but I referred my granddaughter to legend. Ms Bazemore showed out meaning she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. My granddaughter will be safe and happy. The apartments are beautiful. To all of the negatives, legend property provides beautiful, inexpensive and well kept properties. We, as tenants should also do our part maintaining our homes. We live amongst each other so throw shade where it should be. New tenants,, read the reviews, but keep in mind that their experience is there's . Be patient and come home to one of Legend Property Groups apartments, they do care and no I wasn't paid. Looking forward to meeting Ms Bazemore. Stay true."

"Have lived here for 2 years, Sheila the property manager has always greeted me with a smile, has never delayed to address any concerns, and has always put her tenants first priority over anything. You'll find that anywhere you rent from will have it's ups and downs. A lot of the negative reviews posted on this listing are inaccurate. Rent is LOW and affordable, Free Wi-Fi, free utilities, updated homes, and a management staff that is actually personal and cares about you. In all of the apartments I have lived in, despite minor issues that were fixed quickly, seaboard apartments comes highly recommended. For anyone considering moving here, there are a million things to do downtown. The ferry is within crawling distance to get to waterside or even catch a tides game. For a bachelor, young family, or students.. This is a great place to live!"

"I've been residing in The Seaboard Building for a year now. I can say that this has been the best apartment I have ever lived in thus far. I love the easy access to your apartment with the feature of having an elevator. I do like how I have space by my front door to decorate door for each season. By the way they is a cleaning crew that clean the hallways and when they do the halls smell so fresh. I have the latest appliances microwave, dish washer, washer, and dryer. The high ceilings and long windows are lovely. I love the kitchen island in the middle of the kitchen. I jave a spacious bathroom. The bedroom is well sized. I love how unique my apartment is. I love the floor plan. I overall enjoyed the amenities that come with the apartment all utilities include as well as cable and internet. The maintenance team and Ms. Sheila have definitely made my experience at the Seaboard Building amazing.They are on time with any of your needs requests. This is my Zen Place. There are no cons I have about this place. They are all pros. If you would like to live peaceful and be around alot of events this is the right place for you."

"I periodically check the reviews for the properties associated with the property group of which my current residence is associated. I was surprised to see one of the latest reviews(negative) I have been living there for two years and just signed a new lease. I am immensely happy with where I am and equally satisfied with the staff and property manager Ms.Sheila. I wanted to share my satisfaction as I periodically refer new residents to any of the three properties in Portsmouth and did not want a less than favorable review by someone who likely misinterpreted their experience to have a negative effect on their decision causing them To miss out on a wonderful opportunity. Legend Property group, staff and management have delivered exemplary service. I am happy and stand by their product and service."
