"Within the last few weeks, I have definitely seen a maintenance change here. The maintenance staff seems to be attentive and is timely in repairing issues. I've seen them drive around to different units which I've never seen before. I've heard from other tenants that the new maintenance guy CJ seems to be really turning this place around. Thank you"

"Maintenance doesn’t exist here. There’s water damage in my home that I’ve reported to the several different management companies that they keep switching to. The air doesn’t cool upstairs, the heat stops randomly on the winter….again, maintenance doesn’t exist here!!! When there was an attempt for maintenance, it was extremely poor fixes to the problems. Maintenance has also removed property from my storage and claimed it was theirs. Horrible place to be stuck in during this rental crisis. There’s not many places to move to that’s affordable. The list goes on…"

"It going on a two weeks and my air conditioner not working. I keep calling and they sent a maintenance man here that don’t know anything about air conditioning or electrical problem. I pay my rent and I have to live like this. No air, no lights in the kitchen, I have to run a cord from downstairs to the up stairs to get my window unit to work in my room. I have medical problems. It’s 90 degrees and up in this apartment. If I don’t get the problem fix by this week I’m calling the news people and the property owner in florida."

"My mom lives in this place. It has changed ownership hands more than several times. It is now deemed as a tax credit property. VHDA needs to go through Mallard Cove's records. The staff has abrutely stopped working for this company. Now, all of my mom's friends are gone & this place is a complex for parents & children. But I felt better with my mom living there with this staff, who is no longer there. The temporary replacement person sent my mom a letter stating that her rent had not been paid. This company insisted a few years ago for the residents to pay their rent online. My mother's rent just cleared her bank account. This is the worse place & the owners do not care. The residents are just a tax write off for them. I asked this person to check her records again bc I know that my mother's rent has been pd. She lied & said she would & that she would call my mom. She did neither. She walked out the door as the clock struck 5pm. She passed me in the parking lot. I will be reporting this to whomever needs to be made aware."
