"Company raises rent 1200 dollars a year. Enters apartment without notice. Claims they did not replace items in other units I have leased. When asked for the same items to be installed in my new lease they deny ever doing them in the old lease. Charges 1100 for carpet damage, but then drops it to 500 when you talk to them. They are literally scammers"

We have lived here since 2016 and every time we have had a maintenance issue, they have been expedient in getting to us. They are professional, friendly, and consistent. "I have been living at the Hamptons at Hunton Park since May 2023, and it has been a great place to live thus far! The office staff is always friendly and available, and maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. The property is beautiful, and the amenities are fantastic. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking to live in the Glen Allen/Short Pump area."

"I really enjoyed my tour with mayah, she was really sweet and respectful and very self explantory. I saw 2 different models the flanders and the calverton, they are both very nice spacious floor plans and their layouts are perfect. The entire property is gorgegous!? Its a gated community, its peaceful and quiet. They have lots of amenities and they have different events for their residents. They have a big beautiful resort style pool that's open year round, & the fitness center is gorgegous with lots of high tech equipment. The only thing i wish MAA CORPORATE would change is that once you get approved you have 3 days to move in. I feel people need at least 2 weeks to move in & get situated i hope they change that policy for the sake of others who may want to consider moving here. I definitely recommend anyone moving here, its a beautiful peaceful serene complex."

"You see all of the reviews about how wonderful it is to live here. But wait until you move out. If you have pets..prepare yourself for the $1100 charge that is about to come. They will tell you that your $500 non-refundable pet deposit is to replace the carpet and then go back on their word. If you pay for them to clean the carpets and clean the apartment ($175) they won’t even try to clean because apparently 3 small pet stains can not be removed by a professional carpet cleaner. So they will save you the $175, just to turn around and charge you $1100! Plus the $250 deposit that you won’t get back. I would love to see the invoice for a carpet replacement on an apartment that is 800sqft and not entirely carpeted! This place is expensive for what it is. Old appliances, apartment was a mess when I moved in, main gate didn’t work half the time I was there (14 months) and the noise was awful with the thin walls/floors! I previously lived at the Carriage Homes at Wyndham and they were fantastic. No issues and got my full deposit back when I moved out with my 2 dogs and shocking enough, I didn’t owe any extra money! Save yourself the headache and money and look elsewhere! Please see my move-in pictures below!"
