Extended Stay America - Richmond - Glen Allen - Short Pump

"Room 125 - this place has been my home away from home, around july/august my family dealt with a lot of finical hardship that made us step back from our home to get back on track. Losing a home with my children broke me in many ways and the thought of being in a hotel just didn't sit right with me for my babies but being here has given me so much positive reinforcement and encouragement. Since my time here they have made me feel so comfortable sometimes I forget I'm in a hotel room. The staff and management are family friendly that go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met and my children are comfortable and have the things we need. They also keep a high standard of cleanliness and saftey here that brings so much security in the environment. I also want to mention the manager, Charles, who's had been an amazing help throughout this transition. He never cuts corners and make sure, you're handled thoroughly and fairly. I highly recommend staying here, it's has accommodated all my needs for comfortability, safety, & somewhere to call "Home" Thank you Management and Staff"

"Got kicked out because my dogs were barking. Manager said my dogs were a threat when they were leashed. I dont think this is a pet friendly hotel at all. Worst mistake ever made. Of course my dogs bark at people they dont know or bark when other dogs bark aswell. Horrible experience so if you have a dog and it barks please dont stay there. Also was told other residents were complaining I wish they would say something on my face instead of going behind and do exagerated complaints. Thanks for Nothing. Also I thing they were being racist because we are hispanic and none of residents there were."

"Booked a room for my mother-in law when she visited us. Room are very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, definitely going to book here again for my in-laws."

"I love the area that it is in. You pretty much have everything you need within walking distance. They have walking trails near by too. It really doesn't look like a hotel but an apartment complex. It's very nice. I didn't get the room I reserved online so they stuck me in another room. The room I was in had bugs and there was no microwave in the room. The oven didn't work correctly. My profile online states that I like to be on the top floor but they put me on the bottom floor. Again, I love setup would stay again."

"I got a two bedroom suite when I got into my room it looked as if someone was still staying in it. Beds unmade bathroom still with whoever shower stuff in it. I went to the check in only to find out there were no more two bedroom so I got put in a one bedroom with no compensation for my troubles. Had stayed in a extended stay before and was not required to pay for my dog but had to pay 60 dollars this time. Got in my one bedroom and there was no toilet paper. My child found glass under the bed, and there were no sheets for the pull out sleeper that had red stains all over it. Luckily I had my own covers in my car. My bed had been made but had no pillows so luck I brought my body pillow. I have stayed many time in your hotel. I am a member but it will be a while before I return or recommend your hotel to anyone"
