"We had a service call for our existing refrigerator and the estimate was so high we declined the repair and went to East Coast in NN. As we walked around looking at displays and at one point my wife asked me if I bought the tape measure and magically John appeared with one. He assisted us was very patience and answered our questions . The sales process was quick and painless. Thanks John."
"We appreciated the excellent customer service provided by Ken at the NN location. He followed through to insure that we were satisfied with the product we purchased. Bryce, service/installation, is a real asset to your company. He is friendly, very skilled, and wants 100% satisfaction from his customers."
"I am very happy that we decided to go to East Coast Appliance! The price was reasonably affordable. Thankfully, John was extremely helpful and curious throughout the whole time that we were shopping. I recommend going here first if you need to purchase an appliance. My washing machine works beautifully! Thank you John!"
"John was our salesman and did an excellent job answering our questions and giving us space to discuss and decide which range we'd like to purchase. Unfortunately, his after the sale service was severely lacking and the experience we had during the installation overshadowed any positive experience we had during the purchase. We converted our range from electric to gas. We had arranged to have gas logs installed Wednesday through a different company and the new gas range delivered and installed by East Coast on Thursday so we would only be without a range for one day. The first installer that came to the house told us he couldn't install the range, saying that the gas company had run 1-¼" gas line (it was ¾" gas line). This installer went to the local hardware store to find an adapter for what he thought was 1-¼" gas line; once he was unable to find an adapter, he told us that we would need to supply the adapter or have the gas company come back out. We paid East Coast to install the stove, not only did they send an incompetent installer, but he arrived unprepared and then tried to put the responsibility to correct a problem that didn't exist on us. I even had the gas company call the installer and John so he could tell them exactly what was there and what they'd need to connect the stove. While this was happening, my wife had left work early to go to Lowe's and bought an adapter of each available size so the installer could finish the job. The installer said the parts she brought home were the incorrect parts and we'd have to find the correct adapters and he'd come back next week to install the range. Initially when I called John to figure out what was going on since I was at work while all of this was happening, I was told that we'd have to wait for a more experienced installer and the next available appointment was 8 days away. John also told me to have the gas company come back out to install a different line. Everyone at East Coast seemed to think the gas company had installed the incorrect line even after the gas company called them to tell them exactly what they installed. After some back and forth with John, he agreed to move up our install so we'd be without a range for 6 days. The new installer that came out didn't seem to have any knowledge of what he was walking in to because he arrived without an adapter. He was able to verify that the existing gas line was the correct size, but he didn't have the ¾" male/male flared fitting required to connect the flexible gas line. When he was given the various adapters we had purchased from Lowe's, he grabbed one from the bag and said that was what he needed. So after 6 days of not having a range, several phone calls with the installer, John and the gas company, the part that was needed to complete the install was sitting 2 feet from the first installer the entire time. The second installer was able to install the range. After the install was complete, I called John to find out how they were going to make this right, by refunding our installation charge ($200). Instead of doing the right thing and refunding the cost of the installation, we were given a $99 extended warranty (which I declined) and an apology. The level of incompetence by the installer and the lack of service from the assistant manager (John) and store manager is astounding. We went to East Coast specifically because they're locally owned and we thought we'd have a better experience than buying from a big box retailer. East Coast had several opportunities to make things right and failed to do so each time. We'll find a different appliance store next time we need something and you should too!"
"Had a great experience buying a washer yesterday. Mark Turner the sales guy was OUTSTANDING. Only reason they got 4 stars is price coujd be better and need more stuff in stock at the store. Thank you mark for the great experience!!"
