Westover Club Apartments

"I have lived here for about a year and have had a truly wonderful experience thus far. I only plan on leaving if I purchase a home someday! The areas are well maintained, amenities are great, and the location is perfect - so close to anything you could possibly need, including public transportation if that’s something you need to consider. The complex is tucked away behind a golf course and nice neighborhood which provides a lot of privacy. A major perk is the access to the Schuykill River Trail which my dog and I take full advantage of! Management - especially Sheena!! - is very responsive and extremely accommodating. If you are looking to live in the greater KOP/Audubon/E or W Norriton area, it doesn’t get much better than Westover."

"I lived there for two years. There weren't hidden fees, and the entirety of my security deposit was returned to me less the final utility bill. Parking is very easy, mail and packages are convenient and I never had an issue with a package being stolen even when boxes were left in the hall for multiple days while out of town. I had an issue with Indian Meal Moths (Pantry Moths) when I first moved in, which had been brought to the attention of management a month previously, and it was handled for me over the course of the next month and a half - some frustration that it wasn't resolved before I moved in, but they responded quickly upon learning that it was still a problem. I asked for the dinning room light to be removed, as I intended to use that area as a home office - maintenance was a little slow in responding to that request, but it was handled without issue or charge to me. Noise levels were seldom an issue for me, although there were some renovations done to adjacent apartments near my move-out date that made working from home difficult, although that was an uncommon issue during my two years. The various people that worked the leasing office in my time there were friendly and helpful. One irritating repeated issue was that there was consistently pet hair in the washing machines, but that is less an issue with management and more with inconsiderate neighbors. Overall, very few issues in my time there - it was a comfortable and cozy space, loved the easy access to the Schuylkill River Trail, and overall would recommend the Scully Company and this property."

"1 because there is no lower rating available. I regret renting the apartment here. These are very old apartments. The pest control cannot help the apartments in any which way. The insects, rodents and snakes will be all around the houses. Be careful. The surroundings looks great because of the golf course and how they maintain but these old apartments will give you nightmares. The people here will not show you the actual apartment because they know no one would rent if you look at the apartment. They just try to impress you with the model house. The drainage systems are from stone ages and this system clogs your bathroom sinks, the toilets and what not. Trust me you will have nightmares if you rent the apartments. YOU WILL REGRET RENTING THIS PLACE!!"

"The actual rating I would give is -5. The area outside the apartments calm and nice. But at the end of the day you have to come and stay inside the apartment not outside. There are snakes, rodents, long insects- I don’t even know the name of those insects. The insects are like never stopping. All the photos are attached to this post. They just come out of no where no matter how many times you get the exterminator service your apartment. These are very old apartments and the drainage system is very bad. The bathroom tub clogs every week literally and I am not kidding. I have a frequent service request right from day 1 about this problem. If you want to tour this place make sure you ask for the actual house that you are going to get and don’t fall for model house just because you are in a hurry, because if you do you are stuck here. When I came in my bathroom wasn’t even done and they just leased it out. As a inconvenience they will just throw a gift card at you. We are spending lot of sleepless nights and having nightmares about the snakes, rodents and insects. People with kids god bless them. Don’t even rent the apartment. After looking at this review some manager is going to wake up and send a template sorry for the inconvenience and reach out to resolve your concern but they are not going to. I have attached the response as well for my problems and you can look at the response in the images I have uploaded. The response from the manager is clear that they are not going to help me leave this place. So I have reached out to Housing code enforcement office to help me"

"We love Westover Club Apartments. We’ve lived here for over 7 years and counting. Quiet community surrounded by 3 golf courses. We enjoyed a fiesta pool party today! Thank you Regina & Sheena for all your hard work and dedication to our community! We had a blast!"
