Wagner Apartments (Heritage Village)

"New tenant, so here's my take after 60 days of residency. I'll post another review once we're close to moving out to ensure transparency: - The move-in process was painless. Chris is very prompt and available to answer questions or assist when needed. So far, our interactions with Chris have been very pleasant. - The grounds are very clean and well kept, which is awesome. There's a large dumpster out front as well as a decent sized recycling container to use in the parking lot. There isn't any trash laying around on the grounds, nor is there any broken down/abandoned vehicles here. Overall, it doesn't "Feel" like a typical rental complex at all. It's really nice, clean and quiet. There are quite a few pet owners here as well, and everyone seems to be responsible and clean up after them. - The neighbors (at least in my building) are very friendly and neighborly. - The unit wasn't professionally cleaned prior to our moving in, but in the grand scheme of things, this isn't a big deal. The touch up paint that was used in the living room/stairwell doesn't match the rest of the unit, and that in itself makes it feel a little less "nice" than it could. In our experience, we signed the lease without seeing the unit, so we didn't catch it until it was too late, nor are we able to correct it as it states in the lease that you're unable to paint the unit. I've read the previous reviews, and I wanted to add my input regarding these. While you live here, you will incur some additional costs that you don't typically see in other rental units (sewage, water, outside lighting, repair fees) but Chris was up front about those when we signed our lease. Simply put, it pays to read as well as understand your lease agreement prior to signing. Overall, we've had a very pleasant experience here thus far and I have no regrets with my decision to move here. I made this review 4 stars really only because the touch up paint that was used in the living room as well as in the stairwell is an eye-sore and we will be penalized for correcting it."

"This place is horrid. Between bugs, mold, high service fees, and bad service you will feel worse and worse everyday until you leave. Avoid this area at all costs. Make sure you take your move-in and move-out photos and take him to court first if you want that security deposit back. Good luck those are still there."

"Chris Wagner expresses the utmost level of professionalism. He was always early to our meetings when I was inquiring about renting a unit. He answers all my questions in a timely fashion and resolves all my concerns in an urgent matter. In regards with my unit, it was very clean upon move in and he frequently checked up on my fiancé and I to make sure we were comfortable. His staff are very friendly, resourceful and also take care of our needs in an urgent matter. The neighbor is very clean and quiet, which is a perfect environment for my fiancé, who works from home. I would without a doubt recommend this location to others."

"I moved into my townhome in August of 2022. Very well kept, with spacious options to choose from, all with more than enough storage. From the start, move-In condition was exceptional, any maintenance work that was needed was done almost next day - I’ve had no complaints whatsoever. Neighbors are quiet, peaceful, and the neighborhood is very relaxing. It’s a great place to call home."

"I currently live in Wagner apartments Heritage Village in Landenberg PA. The area is beautiful, quiet, and I feel safe living here. The rent pricing is fair and very affordable compared to where I've looked in the past. Great value for a 2 floor - 2 bedroom rental townhouse. All the included appliances are low cost to run and energy efficient as well being that they are mostly run off natural gas. The landlord Chris Wagner is very responsive if any issues on the property arise. Highly recommend."
