Aerostar Apartments LLC 92 Chateau Royale Court, Morgantown, WV 26505

"Avoid living here at all costs! The road to the complex is in such bad shape that it looks like it’s been recently bombed, constant leaks underneath the building that were left as our responsibility to sort out with the water company, moldy walls if you live in the ground floor apartments (one of our bedrooms had a moldy HOLE in the wall!), the walls and floors are paper thin so it’s impossible to get any peace, especially with inconsiderate neighbors who lock their dogs in a room and let them bark for hours on end, there’s a drug dealer living in one of the apartments, kids running amok in the parking lot, wrecking their bicycles into cars and and running shopping carts into them (yes, this happened to me and I have it on film), and horrible, incompetent staff who run the place. My favorite experience was when our apartment flooded with sewer water due to their terrible, old plumbing on the last day of our lease and they still had the gaul to take 90% of our security deposit since we couldn’t wade through SEWAGE water in the carpets/under the linoleum floor causing it to FLOAT in the kitchen to paint the walls and get things we had left in the kitchen and bedrooms. It may seem like a value due to the cheap rent, however, it’s 100% worth LESS than what you pay for. Just live somewhere else."

"New floors, new appliances. Compared to the reviews from 3 years ago , the building is now completely updated besides the outside not being completely finished yet. I’ve never been intimidated by any property manager here. Pay your rent on time and you won’t have a problem. Maintenance always comes when needed. And I’m pretty sure the apartments can be furnished for you if needed. Trash is around $100 something however you pay this yearly. They do also let you look at the apartments before moving in."

"The management is terrible. They break a commitment, very unprofessional. After finalizing the deal the say apartments are not available. They do not clear about the specific charges like garbage, after finalizing the lease they say that there are $220 garbage fees! If it is in the beginning what will be during the living there? said that Former tenants say, they do not get a deposit refund."

"This apartment complex is terrible. The mold problem is way worse than you realize and they of course don't let you see the unit before you move in. When brought up to the property manager they tell you that "black mold doesn't grow in West Virginia". The carpets are supposedly cleaned before move in. This is not the case. The state Attorney General's office has been contacted many times about Lebanon Llc (The LLC that owns Aerostar and Chateau) but there are few systems in place to protect the renters. This company is a joke that takes advantage o you in every way and the poor maintenance people aren't given the resources they need to do anything productive. Stay far away from Aerostar, it's not worth your time or money."

"Worst experience my daughter had in her 5 years at WVU. Read your leases BEFORE YOU SIGN!!! They nickle and dime you for everything and when you think that they would never charge for something: THEY DO! Even charged her for "community cleanup" altho her apartment was left immaculate. Don't expect to get your security deposit back, even if you have kept the unit exactly as you found it. Have read stories of this place being reported to WV Attorney General's office. PARKING IS HORRENDOUS. HVAC units were very inefficient so heating bills skyrocket in winter. Staff is incredibly rude! Having a hard time even giving it a star."
