"Lets start with the good. The shampoo in the rooms was great quality. Now to the rest. Forgive me if my expectations were too high, but this hotel hit the first in my list of places were we stayed, where I wanted to leave as soon as I went in. We normaly check in late, often after 10pm, but this time decided to stop by earlier just to check in. Lickly me, as later I discovered that lobby is closed 10pm to 9 am. With game finishing around 10, we would have had new challenge to simply check in. The rest of the feedback about the room is in the photos. Heavily scratched floor, door to the bathroom not closing all the way, wiggly sink faucet."
"Very reasonably priced, the place appeared a bit run down in need of cosmetic repairs and outside tidying up. Having said that, our room was clean with a pleasing colorsceme and nice furniture. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. There was a refrigerator and microwave. And for $50 a night, we did not miss a coffee maker."
"My husband and I stayed here because most hotels were booked in the area for parents weekend. I really wanted to be able to leave a good review here as I had decent hopes for this place. It seemed like reviews were awful in the past & better recently, so we assumed management must be trying to fix things, but we were wrong. Our experience was not good at all. First, as soon as you walked in the room, the smell was almost unbearable. It was a smoke and mildew smell mixed with cleaning product. It was so strong, I could barely sleep. No matter what we did, we couldn't air it out. The bedding and decor was cheap & awful. It looked like something out of the 80s all black with huge bright blue roses on the bed, curtains, shower curtain, toilet seat and mats. Lighting was terrible, you could barely see in the room and the curtains barely covered the window. Worst of all was the dirty bed :( I wanted to puke when I lifted the blanket up. There was hair and stains on the blanket, sheets & pillow cases. One pillow case had grass and dirt all over one side, another one had black dots ALL OVER it and I'm really praying that wasn't bed bug droppings, but wouldn't doubt it. I will say the staff was very nice when we called to ask them to change the bedding. They first came back with a sheet that had a cigarette hole in it and had to go get another one. The final one seemed clean, but who knows. The replaced pillow cases still had stains all over them. We were there from Friday night through Sunday at 11am and no one came to our room once to clean it or bring new towels/supplies etc. The floor was so dirty we wouldn't even walk on it without shoes on. The water in the shower took a while to drain so you were standing in dirty water. We were honestly so grossed out and would have definitely just left to stay somewhere else if it wasn't all booked up for parents weekend. I will definitely never be coming back here. I honestly feel that any good reviews they have come from them greeting you in the parking lot as soon as you're about to check out to ask for a good review. That was so tacky and we couldn't believe they didn't check on us once or bring us any new towels or anything at all, but had the nerve to come up to us in the parking lot to ask for a good review. Again, I'll say they were very nice when speaking to you, but that's about the only good thing I can say about this place. Also pictures online are extremely deceiving - it looks nothing like that! I took plenty of pictures I can share of the reality of the room. I wish we would have had a better experience, but it was honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in."
"This is actually my 3rd night in a weeks time and I just wanted to bring to attention that Chris and Amber r 2 employees and they were amazing when it came to me asking for clean towels and toilet paper in the middle of the night. Chris without hesitation brought the stuff back immediately. And our room was is amazing it was very clean kept the floors, beds, counters, etc. everything was very neat and tightly. When I asked housekeeping this morning I was told the house keeper Amber had cleaned the room. I was very pleased with my stay once again."
"One of the worst hotel experiences we've had in a long time! The room was very dirty! There was dirt and cobwebs found throughout the room and bathroom. The floors were also dirty. So much so that we walked around the room and bathroom with our socks and shoes on the entire weekend. Additionally, the bed sheets clearly had not been washed since the previous guest. The sheets had stains on them as well as black fuzz between the sheet and the fitted sheet. When we contacted the front desk about getting a new room or to have the bed linens changed, we were told there was nothing that could be done. We were told there was no more vacant rooms. We were also told they could not get us clean sheets till the next day. We even told the front desk we would change the bed sheets ourselves, but the front desk still was not able to give us clean sheets. The next day the front desk said that housekeeping would clean our room. Unfortunately, when we returned to our room later in the night, the room was not cleaned. Additionally, the bed sheets were also not changed. Instead, there were folded sheets sitting on the bed. Clearly, the hotel wanted us to make our own bed. As a hotel, how do you not have the ability to clean a room and provide clean bed linens when requested to do so by guests? How do you also make your guests make their own bed? Very disappointing hotel experience!"
