"I love shopping at White House Black Market. I typically shop online but on occasion I drop by the mall to see what’s in stock. On one such trip one of the ladies let me know about shopping online from directly from the store to keep business in the stores, what a great idea. But today I was so disappointed. I dropped by the mall for my birthday and saw some items that I hadn’t yet seen online so I went in. There were no other customers in the store and 3 employees. All 3 employees made eye contact with me at one time or another and did not say a word, not a good afternoon, not a “can I help Roy with anything?” nothing. So as quick as I walked in I walked out. How can you expect business when you don’t even acknowledge as customer walking in. Very disappointing because there were items I would’ve purchased but not with employees who cannot even say hello. No thank you."

"This store is located on the second floor of Columbia Mall, near Lord & Taylor. I gave 5+ stars on the service and 3 stars on the selections. What I like about the store: Excellent customer service - I feel like a VIP the entire time I was in the store. 1. I was greeted by Lori the minute I walked in the store. I rarely shopped there, but was impressed with the customer service. Lori explained the store layout. If I need an item but it is not displayed in the Petite section, I may be able to order it online. 2. Tia helped me while I was in the dressing room. She found a pair of petite jeans from the back room and it works! 3. Another lady (I forgot her name) helped me at the cash register. She asked if I wanted to leave my purchase on a hanger or in a bag. I opted for the hanger, and was pleasantly surprised that my purchase was in a fine garment bag. The store carries few pants/jeans that are not ripped and the pant legs do not stick to the legs. I do not care for skinny jeans/leggings, nor do I wish to pay for any garment that is ripped. I feel that the quality of the clothes is not as good. The pants are wrinkled and the fabrics are not good quality. Nonetheless, the positive shopping experience that I had will propel to shop there again."
