Dan our application specialist was just as helpful by having patience with me as we figured put all the correct documents that were needed. "FYI This is a long read but its so worth it: I have mixed emotions about Dominion Middle Ridge. I toured two 3 bedrooms 2 weeks ago because there wern't any 2 bedrooms availability with the amenities I wanted. I usually book an appointment online when place hunting but the guy up front was very kind and helpful and I loved the fact that I didnt have anyone over my sholder while I was viewing each property. I ended up falling in love with the second option and discussing with the text option (I believe is their customer service) that Im very interested in applying. At the time I had seen only one other place and was keeping my options open but I was sure this would be one of my top favorites. I had questions over the next 7 days and was able to get them answered in what I felt like a timely manner. However the day I decide to apply everything changed. I reached out through text to the person I had been assigned earlier and received little to no help it took 4-5 hours to hear from anyone and nobody was ever available in the leasing office to pick up my calls. I find that extremely aggrivating and unprofessional. The voicemail prompts you to leave information for someone to get back in touch with you.Ive left 2 and have never received a call back nor an email its been 5 business days now. Ive emailed 3 times and still no response yet. I dont feel prioritized as a new community memeber at all, I feel neglected and Im running out of time because my move in date is approaching and due to my work scedule I dont just have open availability to come in and speak. Back to the application, when submitting the information I was asked to towards the end I was prompted to select either their rental insurance or was told I would need to provode proof of my own insurance apon move in and it would be bypassed. Dominion Middle Ridge took $129 off my card the day I was opting in to use their insurance. I was completely confused because If I had not yet been approved why are you charging me? Especially when the rental insurance I selected to use only required 2 payments throughout my leasing term and the first one was not set up to be taken until May of 2024 & if you're wondering before providing my payment details I reached out several times with no assistance so I just decided to take a leap of faith that ended up costing me more money in the end. Lastly when it came time for me to upload my identification it was horrible start to finish they go through a webside called Plaid and it would not work for anything! I tried uploading my passport and drivers license over 50 times no exaggeration. I couldnt get any help from anyone and became frantic even because I was told I only had 24 hours to submit documentation and I didnt want to loose out on the money and time I already put into the process. The holiday season can be rough and every dollar I earn is invested wisely. Anyway I still have questions that need to be answered but even with calling different times of the day Im unable to reach anyone in leasing during business hour and still have unanswered emails. Please do better in the future, my move is an emergency and you all honestly have made it more difficult than needed to be."
