"Do not trust this company. I lost alot money from his management who is a staff in this office."
"We hired the lease collections to manage our 12-unit HOA condominium. While very responsive to win the business and sign a contract, once onboard it quickly became apparent they didn't know what they were doing. Whether it was failing to collect owners dues or an inability to provide summary monthly financial updates, or simply not managing contractors, working with the Lease Collections only created more work, runarounds and headaches. After months of false reassurances that they were cleaning up their systems and they would be able to service the account, we had no choice but to look for another management company. The Lease Collections are unorganized, unreliable, and frankly incompetent. Tony, Armani, Daniel, and the rest of the team are all very friendly and tell you what you want to hear, but are unable to effectively manage a property of our size (though it's unclear what size building if any they would be able to manage). Transitioning to a new management company, the Lease Collections have proven equally unresponsive, unprofessional, and inept at transferring documents and information over to our new provider. FYI there last 5 star review was over 3 years ago. Perhaps management has changed in that time, but this is not a company you want managing your property today."
"If you have to work with Charlene Tan, request another option. She does not follow up or return calls. Very unprofessional."
"As a potential renter, I found them totally unresponsive to inquiries about their property (even reached out to the CEO on LinkedIn and no luck). If the staff spent as much time answering the phone as they do responding to negative Google reviews, it would be a successful company."
"I used the Lease Collection as a property manager for my condo unit in Fairfax, VA. The plus side of the Lease Collection is that they have cheap monthly fees. Unfortunately, they are extremely unreliable and completely unresponsive. I tried to rely on them to arrange and make repairs to my unit and they were never responsive and never fixed any of the problems in a prompt manner. Eventually, I gave up on them and decided to do any repairs that my tenants requested on my own instead of relying on the Lease Collection. Beyond repairs, getting in touch them about anything and receiving a prompt answer was nearly impossible. For example, my condo association closely monitors and does not allow lock boxes. I sent them a notification that they needed to get the lock box before it's cut. No response for several days. Luckily, my condo association was late in cutting the box so I sent them another message asking them to get the box. When they finally got around to getting the box, my condo association had already cut it. You would think when it involved getting their own lock box, they would quickly resolve it. If they are this slow in taking care of issues that's in their best interest, you can bet your priorities will even take lower priority. When my tenants decided to move out, I decided to see if they could help me find a new renter. Besides being slow, their communication process needs a lot of work. I gave a few months advanced notice so they could get started early and make sure a new renter would be in shortly after my old ones moved out. The month before my lease ended at my unit, I was out of the country so I was really relying on them to get the unit advertised and viewed. When it actually came time, they mentioned a hefty fee to take photos. That in itself is fine to charge for photos, but this should have been communicated to me months ago so I could prepare such things before I left the country. Once they started to tour the unit to renters, they refused to tell me if anyone viewed the unit. Just completely poor communication and poor service. My new property management usually responds to my emails within 24 hours which is a low bar to reach but this is amazing service compared to the Lease Collection. And despite the poor service, I was charged a bit over $500 to leave them because I didn't have proper cause. I felt like their poor service is proper cause but I didn't want to fight it legally and I just wanted to get away from them as quickly as possible."
