"The manager and staff were amazing. Very friendly. The ribs were standard hotel rooms. Clean. It was further from the Gaylord than we would have liked but they did offer a shuttle for us. We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. Definitely would stay here again"
"Very clean place and the staff was amazing. Very smooth check in and check out process. Loved the noon check out time . The walls are kind of thin but its not so bad that your stay would be ruin. Would come back and stay anytime"
"I had a mostly great experience at the Harborside Hotel. I had a Cuban themed event at the Hotel. The room and set up was just what I wanted. The reason for the four stars, instead of five stars, the customer could use some improvement. Due to the Harborside’s proximity to the National Harbor and the updated style of the Hotel, the prices to reserve a conference room is rather expensive. For the customer service not to meet my expectations, I was a bit disappointed in that aspect. A contract that I signed months prior stated that the food would only be out for an hour and a half. It makes sense for food safety. The day of my event I was quite busy and forgot about this. No one reminded me beforehand and while I was having a great time the staff removed all of the food without letting me or anyone else know. No last call announcement or word to me or anything. When I addressed the staff, they did not offer any resolutions and were unfriendly in their delivery. I was shown the contract that I signed and that was that. In addition, the contract stated the food would be served at 8pm and they were late, so I was additional disappointed with them for bringing the contract into it. The staff was in a rush to clean up the event. Even the silverware was removed and my mother told me when she went back for cake she had to eat with her fingers. She also mentioned she felt rushed at the end of the event with the staff hovering in the room before the event was over. It would’ve been nice for someone to offer me a discount to a meal in the restaurant or something else since I wasn’t satisfied with my experience, but… I still had a great party and the food was fantastic. Even though I had to make a stop at the National Harbor at midnight to accommodate a late guest that missed out on eating, I would still recommend this place. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was perfect for me. I just recommend going over any contracts you sign the day of or day before your events. I took some pics of the lobby when I was up there waiting one day. I didn’t want to add pictures of my event because people were in those. Again, I had a marvelous time just one thing needed improvement."
"I was a guest of a large party in one of the banquet halls and also stayed a night in the hotel. The party was catered with food and a cash bar. The staff was all pleasant and helpful. The food was tasty. Typical seasonings for food served to large parties. The cash bar was expensive, $9 beers/wine, and $15 mixed drinks. The room was a single king bed room. It was basic. It had a chair, luggage bench, desk, micro-fridge, and tv. The bathroom was small but clean. The room had an ac unit below the window. I gave the room three stars because it was basic, and the mini fridge made a loud motorized noise every 5 mins that woke me up ALL throughout the night. The plug was to hard for me to reach and unplug."
"Good location if you’re attending anything at the Gaylord. Amazing shuttle service. Very timely and drivers were so kind. I didn’t appreciate that I paid $300/night to stay here and no room service the entire four nights I was here. I’m fine with using the same sheets and towels. But not coming in to take out the trash, replace toiletries, vacuum, make the bed… just not professional… Yes you can request it but why would someone need to request basic upkeep, especially with such a high nightly rate."
