"This hotel is worst than a cheap motel by the hour. Sticks stained sheets, leaky tap, dirty bathroom, and then the most illegal thing is the Manager Shelly or something like that making the front desk staff make copies of individual IDs and I even saw a military guy ID open at the front desk which was copy by a staff, so I hope he sees this and sue this hotel location, got stuck here due to weather and would not let anyone copy my personal ID much less my government work ID, then to have the front desk called to say we need to check out at 11am when my company have a car service for pick up at 3pm, so she at the front desk Aka Shelly or whatever her name is. Stayed at other locations and none of this illegal stuff was done, Comfort inn needs to fired her and look into this location. Also after returning from lunch with coworkers found out someone went into our hotel room while we were out, so anything missing we will be suing that location and Choice Brand as well, we cause we set a trap to know if anyone opens our doors and place our bags a certain way and when return everything was disturbed, and we travel 100% of the time for work"

"The outside of the hotel was clean for the most part. There was some random trash in the parking lot but nothing more than you’d see anywhere else these days. The front desk lady was smoking and on a personal call when I arrived to check in. It didn’t take her long to come back in, end her call, and get to the part where she does her job but it certainly wasn’t immediate. The room was clean and in order, no complaints there. The overwhelming amount of pot smoke that was in the hallway did finally fill my room which was less than optimal. It was enough that I was concerned I’d smell like pot when I showed up at work. There’s no way the hotel staff didn’t notice the smell or cloud of smoke in the hallway. Maybe Thursday nights are a big party night in DC? I think I’ll pass on this hotel for my next trip."

"I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Oxon Hill, MD for 2 nights for 1 night in September. They put a hold on my credit card for "incidental charges", and now (1 month later) the hold is still on my credit card. I spoke to someone at the front desk last week who indicated that there was a mistake and that the hold would be released immediately. The hold is still there. This hotel is engaging in unethical and illegal business practices and I will be reporting them accordingly."

"We decided to take a day trip to the area. Our normal place didn't have availability, so we decided to stay here. Ms. Phyllis was so professional and courteous. Although we had technical issues with the first two rooms, the third time was THE CHARM. If there is someone teaching a customer service class, Ms Phyllis should definitely be THE TEACHER!"

"I read the reviews but prices were more reasonable here so we decided to give it a try. The rooms were clean, hotel was accommodating, and staff was professional and courteous. We left some belongings in the room and they called to tell us and reassured us it would be safe! That wouldn't happen everywhere! Will stay again."
