"I appreciate the new management at Buttonwood taking our concerns very seriously and making an effort to resolve them. Specifically Caleen has been wonderful. Maintenance is quick and the employees are kind. I'm glad I chose to live here."
"Their screening process for pets is pathetic. There are so many extremely aggressive dogs and people who leave their dogs unattended who break the leash and attack or attempt to bite you and if you have dogs. If you want a safe area to walk, please stay away. It's pathetic that you have to carry while walking the neighborhood in case other dogs are attacking you. A lot of people who live here are terrible at cleaning up their dog poop. Sidewalks. All through the grass. The only thing that makes ot decent is when it's time to move, and then you are safe to walk for the most apart besides the comments made above. This place accepts all dogs. Aggressive or not, so please be aware. I've lived in this neighborhood for about a year, and each month, it gets worse. They need to screen dogs way better. I think they look at pictures and just approve them."
"I feel safe. Neighbors are quiet. Would like to have a bigger bark park for my dog to run. Wish apartment was more up to date, for the price."
"This is probably the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. Maintenance requests go for days before anyone does anything if they do anything at all. They fix everything the cheapest possible way even if it's not safe. They have raised their rent 300 percent over the last 4 years taking advantage of a pandemic and an artificial inflation. They charge premium pricing for less than stellar service. They don't do anything about pest control. You will likely have ants, they will not care. As a current tenant I would recommend renting elsewhere Your response is canned and false. The pest problem has continued for over a month with no sense of urgency of your office to remedy or neutralize. The rent increases are not in line with th market. I am happy to provide a list of similar properties that have lower rents within a 25 mile radius You clearly do not take safety seriously as my dishwasher has been a fire issue for over a week you've reported that it was fixed when it was not and no one has been out to look at it."
"If you are a first-time renter considering this complex, please rethink/consider ALL of your options. My partner and I lived here for close to 1.5 years and got out as soon as we could. The walls are paper thin. If you neighbor a family with small children, you WILL hear them scream or cry. We lived upstairs and had neighbors next to us where we could hear the kids constantly cry and stomp around. This wouldn’t be an issue whatsoever if the apartments weren’t so poorly soundproofed/insulated. Maintenance refuses to fix anything unless they absolutely have to. We had a broken gutter with at least 4 receipts of maintenance requests and nothing was done for 8 MONTHS. It wasn’t fixed until shortly before we moved out. The washer/dryer constantly gave us problems too and they refused to address it. BTW, expect to do at least 10 loads of laundry just to get a weeks’ worth of your family’s done, because the units are so small. Your rent WILL go up every single year you renew. They wanted an additional $200-300 for just our first lease renewal. If this is of concern to you, you might be better off looking at apartments that rent month-to-month. Again, if you are a first-time renter looking for an apartment you can afford and be comfortable in for at least a few years, STAY FAR AWAY. The prices they charge seriously aren’t worth it."
