"Let them know ahead of time this was a romantic stay. Negative response Hilton may want to reconsider its affiliation. Placed in room 621, we unpacked just to find out the shower didnt work. Sent a gentleman up and the whole shower placement came out of the wall. We had to move rooms. Placed us on the sixth floor room 621 in which a helicopter flew overhead all night on Friday. TV wasn't working gentleman came and fixed that. For a romantic stay on both days we were awakened early by a loud fire alarm. Had to call the front desk to confirm it was a false alarm as there was a smell of smoke. Scary , no relaxation could have stayed home and woke up early. Bug found near coffee machine. Showed the front desk all concerns on Saturday checkout. I should have taken a picture of her face as she read my concerns. Wow. She had no compassion and could not address any of them. Don't stay here just skip to the next one if possible. Asked for something off the bill for all the inconveniences and you would have thought I asked for something that was impossible. That lack of customer service resulted in this review. She could have called the manager and resolved onsite. I will call corporate as well. Hilton needs to really look at who they associate their chain name with."
"was the worst hotel experience I have ever had as a Gold Hilton Rewards member. I was charged double the pet price with no notice. I tired to check in on my phone and could not. Then I called and was given an attitude. Came in at 3am and was given poor customer service and an attitude. Never explained the pet fee. Worst customer service. Then I left at 9:45am. I had left my keys in the hotel room and was running late. The guy who saw me walk out of the hotel with my stuff asked for an id which made me run out to my car adding another 10 minutes. This whole process added time causing me to be late for my uncle’s funeral. Then leaving I was charged $150 fee and a $50 pet fee. Neither of which were explained when I came in at 3am and was given an attitude by an employee who appeared to be sleeping in the couches in front of the desk. I called to ask about this and I was rudely told that because I didn’t register my pet the $100 fee jumped to $200. This entire experience cost me not only saying goodbye to my uncle but over $400 to sleep for 4 hours. Don’t ever stay here. I should have read the reviews. The room Furniture had scratches. The floor was dirty. The room was cold and I couldn’t figure out how to increase the heat. Worse experience in my life. Don’t stay here. I’ll update this as time goes on. I’m currently waiting to hear from the manager and will call again on Monday."
"Stayed at this hotel for my cousins wedding in room 315 and this will be the last time . Their was no room service and if you don't own a car like me then you have to do Uber or Lyft to get around . Curtain stick was broken causing them to not close all the way. The breakfast was okay but I would recommend eating outside due to the variety . The $150 deposit plus my stay totaling $402 was a bit much for my budget when I only stayed two nights with my child ."
"Stayed in room 206. Curtains were broken and street lights were shining in my room most of the night. The bathroom smelled slightly of sewer, and the AC/heat was very loud and clunky all night- AC was not operating. Service in the hotel was great , but the rooms are not to standard"
"Good place to stay! Our room was clean, no issues checking in. The breakfast was nice with lots of options! Nothing spectacular, just what you would expect with a standard free breakfast. Close to the Branch Avenue metro station where you can ride the metro in to Audi Field and Nationals Park! Real easy and convenient so that you don’t have to try to park in the city! Only reason I’m not rating it 5 stars is because I felt like it was overpriced for what you get. I get it though, it’s close to DC and they have to compete with the prices of surrounding hotels. Just thought in the $200’s for what you get is a bit high."
