Comfort Inn Conference Center 4500 Crain Highway, Bowie, MD 20716

"Stayed here over the Xmas holidays. It's a basic hotel with good service from the front desk. If you get a room here ask to stay in the newer section of the hotel. When you get here what you'll notice is that the hotel has been renovated and they added a newer section to what was the original Hotel. The original rooms are okay but the hallways really strongly smell of smoke and weed. We stayed in the older section for a day but the smell got so overwhelming we asked to move and the front desk didn't give us a hard time at all about moving. Once we change rooms the stay got 100% better. Edit: Adding this part in response to the reply from the hotel. The fact that we did tell the front desk about the smell of smoke and that the front desk gave us new rooms should make it clear that we did tell the hotel about the smell of smoke. In fact the front desk instantly knew what we were talking about and made a different excuse about it than what the owner wrote in their reply. I took off a star because instead of just heqring what I said and keeping it moving you tried to shift blame to us by saying we didn't tell you when we did say exactly why we were changing rooms. The fact that all of your responses to anyone that has an issue is "find someplace else to stay" shows that customer service is not top of mind for your establishment. With that being said while the place is inexpensive make sure you keep in mind the reaction of the ownership on here. If they react like this to a review imagine how they may treat you if it involves any kind of refund."

"Love staying here when in the area rooms are very spacious. And I love the free breakfast buffet. Big shout out to Denise at front desk very nice and will definitely take care of you for room or rooms you need."

"Great place right off the highway. The walls are super thin so you can hear EVERYTHING! The restaurant and bar are not open on Sunday so that's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5."
