"Zara and Paul prior to me moving in was very professional and profound about me having a great move in experience and even after moving in they have been so open to making me feel comfortable Such great people and property management. I highly recommend."
"As a current resident I can say this is the very best apartment building in the area. I cant believe they came in on a holiday to remove snow and and put ice down. They really do take care of the residents. They have gatherings in club house for residents the last one was an 80s dance party, before that a Holdays themed one. Paul and his team are always so friendly and want to make everything here perfect as can be for the residents. There was some issues in parking lot (vandalism, stolen rims) but that was all months ago. We haven't had anything recently which I believe is from there being 2 state patrol officers live here and parking there cars out front as well as putting more cameras in so i guess word got out and we don't have the lowlifes preying on our cars anymore."
"First of all Woodmore Grand is the complete opposite of a luxury apartment. I moved in during the middle of June and I've been living here for 3 months now. As of today we have had 10 CARS VANDALIZED (including mine), 2 CARS STOLEN, and 1 ARMED ROBBERY where two ladies were robbed at gunpoint while one was walking into the building and another was in her car. When I first was looking for a new area to live in I wanted to find someplace that obviously had a nice proximity to stores etc., was out the way of high paced foot traffic and finally a safe environment where I could feel comfortable in my home. Sadly Woodmore Grand has failed on the later. Just to let you know this complex opened later than scheduled and still wasn't ready for ready for residents. When we moved in multiple amenities weren't ready ie. digital doorbell and parcel lockers. If the place wasn't ready for people to move in they shouldn't have moved people in in the first place. Once me and my girlfriend moved all of our stuff in our apartment it seemd like it was rushed to get finished. For example, one of the drawers in the kitchen would not open completely without excessive force because the nail that was supposed to be in the wood completely fell out. Another example is that we can't have our TV and dryer on at the same time because the breakers faulty and we were told by maintenance that it wasn't working because there is faulty wiring that they cannot fix. However, the act that really sent me over the edge was coming outside to seeing that my cars' wheels were stolen. Mind you that I have only been living here for 2 MONTHS and only had the car for a month. This was the moment where I truly began to feel like Woodmore Grand does not care about its residents. When I went to talk to the property manager about what had just occurred I was told the same statement about how "crime may happen anywhere, at any time." If that's the case you would think to make sure that your apartment is safe by having a gate around the premise or having more then just 2 cameras on each side of the two buildings and one on each of the entrances. The detectives even called me 3 weeks after the incident and asked if I had any footage of the incident. Unfortunately, I had none because my car was parked in a blind spot. The solution to the uptick in crime? Woodmore Grand and PG County PD thought a decoy cop car from the 1990s would deter criminals and other vandals. Just for the criminals to VANDALIZE ANOTHER CAR for its wheels 2 weeks later while the cop car was parked in the direction of where the incident occured. The fact that until I had the garage I genuinely didn't feel safe parking my car in the lot each night worrying that it would get vandalized again even with wheel locks. I also still don't feel safe walking in at night and now have to start taking precautionary measures into my own hands since Woodmore Grand hasn't done anything about it. After my incident there has been several more incidents of vandalism that have happened over the past months. Also, after asking numerous times for security cameras to be put around the building I was told at the middle of August and then told that we would have them by the beginning of September. It is the 20th and there still is no cameras or courtesy cop living on the premise. We have been working with them constantly and not much has been done. If you made it this far down the review I hope I was able to convince you to know that YOU SHOULD NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY AND PROPERTY."
"***Update*** They did address the issue of the parking passes and provided a standard visitor’s pass. (Thank you) The property managers are really great folks! They make sure that they’re engaging the community by creating events and taking time to get to know the residents. One concern that I have is the amount of vehicle break-ins, thefts and common street access. Criminals are targeting the areas around Woodmore and Woodmore Grands residents vehicles. One vehicle was left without wheels in our parking lot while there was another vehicle across the street left without wheels. (It seems like they were targeting Honda’s that night) I’m hoping that our community will address this with security cameras, security guards or both. Again, the property as it stands in terms of the apartments and the upkeep is great! But I actually seen about 5 thefts here since I’ve been a resident and that part is not so great. I would suggest taking the necessary precautions as it relates to keeping your items out of sight and make a small investment into wheel locks for your vehicle. Due to these types of thefts I purchased some for around $45. I know that you shouldn’t have to do this but it’s going to at least give you piece of mind. I’m sure that when they built this property they never accounted for the criminal elements so I can understand them not being prepared for this amount of thefts. However now since it’s quite evident they will need to make some sort of adjustment. I’m not going to change my rating at this time because in fairness we have to give the property owner a chance to react to the situation but if there is no changes then I would definitely be providing an updated rating. *** End of Update*** I love the building and decor. My only problem is you have to get “pre authorized visitor passes. So if you have a friend that comes over after hours their car will be towed. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t provide a standard visitors pass like anywhere else. Other than that, it’s a great place to live so far."
"Please do not waste your time or hard earned money on this property UNTIL they make the urgently needed safety improvements. They need multiple individuals doing patrol of the premises mainly during the night hours, additional security cameras, and fencing to make it difficult to steal or vandalize. These thieves only need a few minutes to jack up your car and steal all 4 tires and rims. They will keep coming back if the parking lot is easy pickings!! The inside apartment space itself is nice but it’s all negated when there is rampant mischief going on in the area and no one cares to quickly do something about it. This issue needs to be a top priority with visible action being taken to protect the hard earned property of the residents."
