Hampton Inn Shrewsbury 1000 Far Hills Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349

"Friday, December 29th, 2023 Rachael, the front desk concierge is top notch & deserves a raise. She is friendly, personable, helpful & overall amazing at her job! The hotel has a complimentary breakfast, but unfortunately, everything has "natural flavor", "seasonings", "spices" & unidentifiable ingredients making nothing gluten free or Celiac safe or friendly, unfortunately. I was stuck with bananas & and fruit. I couldn't have a hot meal. The rooms were clean, however, outdated & quite frankly, ugly. The paintings, carpets, lamps, etc were ripped & chipped & the room needs refreshing. The window was a view of a wall so it was dark & not pleasurable."

"Just stayed for one night, but the room was clean & very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. The lobby was huge and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! I would definitely stay there again. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the coffee wasn't good. Although, I'm kind of finicky with my coffee, so maybe it just wasn't for me."

"We were not permitted to buy a bottle of water from the front desk because we were not "Hilton Honors". We paid for our room, we were guests. Isn't that enough? Why does anyone have to be so high up to not be permitted a bottle of water?"

"I have been visiting Shrewsbury PA for over 20+ years, as my weekend getaway location. And for the past 20+ years I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inns. This past weekend my wife and I stayed for (4) days and NEVER did a front desk staff member greet or acknowledge us, even if we were the only persons in the lobby area: TERRIBLE customer service experience."

"This hotel is beautifully maintained--the common areas and our spacious, spotless room looked and smelled new. The pool was sparkling clean and not too cold; the hot tub was a treat. The staff was unusually accommodating and helpful. We stay in many Hampton Inns, and this one is the best one we've experienced in years! (As other reviews have noted, they need a sign at the drive that leads to the hotel--without it, it's easy to wind up confused at the Home Depot.)"
